Spiral Lei Tutorial - Yukoslei

This is my first tutorial how to make ribbon lei. I really wanted to make a spiral lei so I tried it a few years ago while looking at pictures. It may look complicated but the concept is very simple. Let's try making one.

It's gorgeous, yet it's a simple process. Please try making it. You can also just layer the petals one by one without making a flower.

Hello❤ The length of the typical leis I make is about 100 to 110cm. 10 flowers are about 10cm, so if you are making a normal lei size, estimate the length to be about 8m of 7/8 size, 14m of 1/8 size should be enough. Since the thread is double-stranded, you will need twice the length you want to make. This time, I am only introducing the spiral part. The kit will be sold in the online store.

Hi! How many pieces of ribbon do you use for the thick pieces and thin pieces and how long is your thread when making this lei?
