Thanks. I'd recommend the Omnium Mini Max, it's a bit shorter but has almost the same cargo area, also the new ones the V3 have more hub and rim options
@@zoraiderims +1 on the mini-max, amazingly nimble and you can still take a full grown adult on the front without much trouble. Of course not as stable as the regular cargo but it fits in most modern elevators and no problem taking on escalators or lifting it into a train etc.

indeed, can't go wrong with PIKO, price/performance is great, details, spare part availability, the only thing that annoys me is that the six axle locomotives have a non driven middle axle, everybody else is doing it...

it runs quite well, has the upgraded board with plux22, also plenty of space for speakers and keep alive

IMHO, MTB and ROCO have decent pulling power, lots of liveries, but they get sold out pretty fast

Great video. Thank you. One question: you use a 57cm frame, which L, right? How tall are you? I am 188cm and am not sure if M or L is correct, esp. as others from my family, who are smaller, want to use the bike too. Thanks for your perspective. Best
It's the L, i am 185cm and it fits almost perfectly, but if shorter people have to use it, probably the M size would be better, because u can always get a longer stem but they can't grow longer arms 😆

Great video! This was the most informative review of the bike I’ve seen yet. Also, I’m a skater and we use the Shoe Goo to patch holes in our shoes because the griptape wears them down quickly. Useful stuff.

The original Jones bars were 660. The 710s are marked for cutting down to 660. I highly recommend using these bars with some sort of limp dick stem, like the Velo Orange Cigné. That'll get your hands up and back to a good relaxed position with plenty of control.
What parts did the frame kit come with?🤙🏾
Frame, Kickstand, Fork, Headsets, Steering Rods, Speedlifter, 1x50mm Spacer.
The main difference is the ligting, the Roco has internal lights, lot of them actually.

Looks very cool and detailed! I was considering getting the CSD version of this, to run on my Märklin layout. Is the body made of plastic on these models? And if so, is that how Roco model usually are? Not that it's a problem. Coming from Märklin, I'm just used to metal bodies, so only curious. Great video! Also, your cat is so cute! :)
Most of the Roco Locomotive Shells are made of plastic, some of the rolling stock like container cars are made of zinc alloy. Thanks for noticing the cat.

Regarding the weird sound, I suggest you try a Zimo decoder. Zimo has some gimmicks on their decoders, something about current compensation that makes the locomotive silent as a mouse and runs very smooth. This sound happens to me as well when I equip them with Loksound v 5 from ESU.

The wierd sound is very common in AF moddels locos. The same locomotive in the video, got me crazy from the sound no joke, and I ended up swapping the motor with a roco ICE2 motor. For the components: The motor is Chinese , it used to be some top tier quality Japanese motor on older generations. And what's outside like the chassie and the accessories are Romanian built.
