Hello from Greece i don't know what to do with sephiroth i try many times from some reason the analogic stick not listen on orders before punch me!! I have so many nervous after 3 hours trying and not beat him i broke my controller and analogic stick from my nervous pff😤😤

How you have the fast travel active but the main story mission still active? As soon as I get there my fast travel go away, and I cannot kill the first group without the other 2 groups ambush me

The first time he enrages he does the same pattern every time. The times after he has three different patterns, including the first one, it’s random which one he uses. When you’re close to winning he starts off with the same patterns but mixes up the end.

I HATE THIS FUCKING STUPID MINI GAME. I’ve swarmed the bastard TWO fucking times now and my troops move like fucking slugs and never seem to kill him even when he’s literally on 1 HP- FUCK THIS GAME.

thank you for this! i didnt followed the tips here down to the dot but I made sure that I copied the armor and the material (I didn't have the cetran armors with 8 slots for material so I had to go and get them first before fighting this boss again.) if I may add, if you ever need to fight the small encounters along the way to the boss you can also put fire + elemental materia on the weapons so that you can just normal attack your way through the map without having to use MP as you want to save it for the boss. i also placed firaga and thundaga on shortcuts so that I can react faster when the boss is about to do an attack.

Here’s exactly how to tell which attacks Sephiroth will use using pause buffering (note: this guide is assuming that you pause at exactly the moment that his punch is fully wound up): Left Up and Right Up: Sephiroth will lean backwards Right Middle: Sephiroth’s chin is cocked to the (player’s) right, relative to the center line of his face Right Down: His chin is cocked to the left, relative to the center line of his face Left Middle: His thick forearm is in a straight line with his bicep Left Down: His thick forearm is bent so that it does not appear to be in a straight line with his bicep Up is easy, since those are the only attacks where he leans back For left stick middle and down, the trick is to watch the bend angle of his punching arm For right stick middle and down, the trick is to watch whether his chin is to the left or right of his nose (from your perspective). It takes a bit of practice to get the pause timing down, but once you do, it should be a pretty straightforward fight.

Took several tries but I got it using a slightly modified loadout. Thanks for the no Gotterdamerung guide!

I actually find Sephy easier to beat than the Shinra manager. The manager’s movements are more difficult to anticipate because of his stance.

It doesn’t work. The controller doesn’t respond and Cloud doesn’t do shit against him. Sephiroth gets 50 million hits before you get 1. A retard literally designed this game

You are a Godsend. That was a battle I'm glad I never have to do again. The loadout was spot on - similar to Optinoob but thankfully without the GDR. I dropped it 5 times getting to the point where there was a rhythm going on Thundaga and Firaga but once that was working, I beat his ass like a man possessed. In the end, I had two Satellite Beams and started stage 2 with both boys fully decked on ATB, Faith and Haste - didn't even need to Stop him again... I just sent his ass straight back to hell. Where he belongs. Less than a second on the clock... NEVER. AGAIN.

Omg i finally did it. It took about 6 hours spread between a few days. Had to take a break and do some combat to keep from losing my mind. Thank you for the video. I was having a lot of trouble telling the straight jabs from the overhead. But seeing them really helped out

Thanks! Awesome route for getting over 42,000 points easy! Saves me a lot of trial and error about where to go and get enough boxes (even though it looks like your path has different boxes configuration the overall path is still the same for me to get the most # of boxes, if not all).
