I love to use the tapper when I'm setting up a new auto extractor. Apart from the auto extractor, an auto arm and the (3-4) tappers I dont need to bring anything because I can produce the rest (platforms, medium storage small generators and even a small printer) with resin and compound on the spot. On Sylva, I just use 3-4 plumefirs to sustain the power for an auto extractor and auto arm for the power. The plumefirs also give 2 seeds around half the time, so I could start with just 1 seed in a pinch or if Im underground and harvest a few cycles. It has made power production and distribution so much easier when all auto extractors are self-sufficient islands from a power perspective.

With your farm, make sure the first field you plant is all flax so you have enough fiber to make everyone clothes for winter. Keep it going until you have more flax than you need then cut it back. After that plant another field and rotate the crops for the seasons to supplement your cook, which incidentally you need to assign someone to asap.

Bytes shouldn't be a issue once you can craft large rover and storage silo B. Go to glacio and harvest much research object and boxes many as possible. They give 2k or 3k per item form special boxes. They can be opened by energy by the rover and often ammonium item

I am able to generate power on atrox reliable other than rtg generators but i will implant this system with smelters and medium generator as soon as I'm back in the game

This might seem like a RTG Kill but Remeber You got Tapper + 2 Arms + 1 Furnace + X amount of generator working And at a small scale this might not seem a lot but when more amount of these exist the more the lag Which is why RTG is better cause its just 1 object

you can also pre-flaten(hoe) the ground and flaten it

cook the food man, its much better then. and you can just right click the items in inventory to move them to storage or from you to the fire(but you have to be in the fire)

I used my "burrito/scrape" save, I have 5 sets of the disks. All I had to do was touch the set " twice " and got the canister and seat. Took about 5-10 mins to unlock and print. Fyi I think we will be getting a larger rover that the seat will fit on and we will still have drill and paver. Imagine how much better you could see to drill/paver.. Maybe wrong, but would be cool and would make sense for that LARGE parking station thing.. Good luck

The title is called how to play astroneer but all you did was describe what you are doing and not how to do it what I'm looking for is how to do the things that you are doing. Other than that nice video

Hey mate. When traps break, press B for build menu, top right click disassemble, then look at trap and select F. Then exit menu or hit I for inventory, it places a new trap back into your inventory. Right click on trap to use and replace back on ground. Nice little hack that saves mountains of wood.

I love the simplicity of this game, I feel like every single time that I put the game down. I can come back and have just as much fun with this game that I did the first time I picked it up.
