I can so relate to this scene, i am a working mother. I feel guilty every day that I go to work and have to put my son in childcare. I’m fortunate to be in a job now that two days a week, I get to take my son to school. He always says “mummy will you pick me up and unfortunately I cannot due to work. I do not work out of choice, I do it to survive, pay bills and keep a roof above our heads. To all kinds of parents out there, either working or not, help or no help, I take my hat off to you as it’s not easy being a parent but it’s a honour to be one..
I’ve never been pregnant or a mother (by choice) and I completely admire those that are mothers/parents that take that job title seriously. It’s okay feel overwhelmed, exhausted, annoyed, frustrated, angry, stupid, and confused because trying to raise a small human seems like HELL. A fulfilling Hell I’m sure but Hell none the less. I too will raise my glass to you all! If you can take a day or two just for yourself; recharge your batteries and reset. Even high powered machines can overheat from being nonstop 24/7 so imagine how your body actually feels. Don’t feel guilty and don’t let anyone let you feel guilty about it either ❤️
