HI Alexis…great video! My daughter is also attending PVPUSD (I noticed from some of your pics you’re from PV). She has a similar profile, not a straight A student, not a great test taker but is naturally inclined with an entrepreneurial and communications spirit. Quick question…did you contact and develop a relationship with the California rep from Michigan? Lots of students from the Southbay applying to UMich and I hear they compare them to one another. Any helpful suggestions specific to applying from this area would be great!
I did not do that! I used a college counselor though

Yooo ima be a umich student next year. I was admitted into a south quad and couzens community. Which dorm is more social and which dorm is a better location?
South quad is closer to central campus since couzens is on the hill and about a 10 min walk to central. Couzens also doesn’t have a dining hall but south has a really nice dining hall. Not sure which is more social though sorry

Thanks for su much helpful video! I got accepted to U of M for transfer program. Because I'm an international sutdent, I'm supposed to pay much more tution than in-state students. But since you're an out-state student, I was wondering how financial stuff goes. Is there any accomodation such as foodpantry and need-based financial aid?
Congrats!! There is need-based financial aid, but not as much as a private school could provide. There is a food pantry called the maize and blue cupboard!

I'm sure you can! I think a lot of the admissions process is looking at experience and your essays

Weird question, but if I want to study business at Michigan and I don’t get into Ross, can I still study at the other school or??
Yes! You have to get into LSA first so if you don’t get into Ross you can be in LSA and study something else and then try to transfer in sophomore year

@@jjtang2139 I really did not make friends during welcome week, but most of my friends are from clubs and classes. I just tried to talk to people and if I liked them then I would ask them to go to school events or the dining hall together. I think there is a block party and many frat parties. I went to some school events too and they had food and music
