Dimash was born and raised i Kasakhstan like the rest of his family including his parents and grandparents. He may have given a koncert in Korea, but to my knowledge he never lived there. His style is a lot more that pop - certainly not K-pop - his style is classical cross over - he combines several styles of music in his art, including folk, particularly from his own beloved country Kasakhstan. When singing in other countries, he pays his respect by singing a traditional song in that country's language - like he did in Turkey on his 30th anniversary. Love from Danmark
