yes and no. ed is a mental disorder that comes from your head not your body it just representation comes from super skinny girls but everyone can be dealing with ed 🤷🏼♀️
not necessarily, there are many types of eating disorders. the most common ones are Anorexia, Bulimia and BED but there are many others. Anorexia is diagnosed when you are really underweight and have most have fears of gaining weight. Many anorexic patients restrict their food intake and exercise excessively there’s also a thing called atypical anorexia which is the same thing except it’s diagnosed when you aren’t underweight. Bulimia is just as bad and it’s when you binge a lot of food and proceed to purge because if a guilty feeling. purging can mean vomiting, misusing a laxative, excessive exercise and more. BED stands for binge eating disorder and it basically when a person can’t stop binging. some may binge for different reasons but some of the most common are emotion or just not being able to stop. that being said that could be a very triggering comment. you should do some research before saying something like that or try to rephrase in a way that won’t trigger others.
