Hey there guys, my name is Garry, and after many years of doing scale models I have decided to start my own channel to share with you my experience, tips, tricks and tutorials and all things model related. Follow me on my journey as I complete planes, motorbikes, cars and ships, to name a few. Im new to CZcams and would love to grow with you, and I encourage comments and any feedback to make it an interesting channel.

That is a big model, 1/18th scale? Great work on the ignition wires, a radial engine doesn't look the same without them. And in such a big scale it would be too obvious to overlook. Love the paint scheme & markings. I have a soft spot for early-war US Navy carrier aircraft. Great job!

Yes it is I didn't get this kit for myself got it for my son's birthday he was looking at this model awhile ago I guess I was the guinea pig that go it for him But thank you for watching my video appreciate the feedback it helps the channel to grow have a great weekend

I highly recommend watching Clay Kemp in doing the start of the model, there’s a few things you need to get right to avoid problems later on. Clay also does the decals for Salvinos. I’ve built a few of these so far. Just subbed as well, also the letter next to the part is the colour call out via the menu top of page

It's called hand of god steering. It's a feature on a lot of technic cars.

@@gbmodels7790 quite a bit. I've got this kit coming in the next few days. I'm getting ready to get back into good ol' scale modeling here pretty soon. Just getting all my stuff together first. Tools, paint, material...took about a 10 year hiatus. Been building Lego in the interim. The ol' lady loves them too, so that's a bonus. I've got the big 1/8th Ferrari.

Very nice, Garry. Your paint work looks perfect. If the instructions do not explain the exterior darker color, it is a paint that reduces the (RCS) radar cross section by 15% and is called, 'Have Glass'. It is used on other aircraft like the F-16. There is a newer Have Glass V that may be a different shade but I have not seen a model paint named that yet. I am building one of my 1/32 Tamiya F-16s in the paint scheme using AK11882, Have Glass, 3G acrylic. It is also included in their paint sets, one being, AK11744, US Navy & USMC Modern Aircraft & Helicopter colours.
Thatnk you try my best I will look into that colour I have not done the f16 yet but I will do it I am going to build the f22 and the f35b and f35c and j20 don't think i will get this done all in the one year but thank you for your help cheers

No problem at all. I don't mind helping out. I have tried a wireless microphone before, and it just broke up my voice. I don't know if it was a setting on my phone or a cheap microphone that I bought. Do you have a recommendation for a good one by any chance? Do you come to Victoria for car shows? I have family in Launceston.
