Everyone seems to be having the same problem with that paint Gaby, I wonder if was a dodgy batch or something, hopefully Scrawlr peeps are looking into it, I'm sure Daler Rowney paints are usually reliable aren't they? Anyway, LOVED your artwork, it's really fun and colourful and I can see it features lots of things from your life - I thought that was a fun challenge and I do love Inktense pencils :)

My gouache was the same. I emptied the whole tube out without much luck, so I didn't use it in the end. Love your take on the prompt.😊

My gouache was exactly the same - runnier than a tube of watercolour! I posted in the Scrawlrbox chat and everyone was having the same problem and had to try and insert a stick/end of a paintbrush and stir it up inside the tube to get it properly mixed. Lovely art!

Nice haul. Fineliner's are literally the hardest to find that are actually waterproof. I like my Tombow monotwin myself. I'm glad they have better supplies. The last time I bought brushes from them they fell apart after one use. The bristles all fell out. Great art pieces, can't wait to see what else you create with your new toys!

Posca colored pencils are great! They are my number one go to. I wish they had more colors, though. Happy mail is the best!

Aw glad you liked everything!! The pencils are very buttery to use! I love them!! The Derwent skin tone ones, I have no recollection of buying them at all! I found them when I was getting the Posca pencils out of you and it was like the first time I’d even seen them 🤣 Your portrait is gorgeous Gaby!! ❤

Loved this Gaby! really like the idea of using them like watercolours, I'm not very confident with pens so might give a that technique a go instead. absolutely gorgeous artwork, the little bird is so cute! ❤

I think the key is in the water combined with the color, when the water is pure, it is too much for the pastel, but when combined with a pigment it reduces its soluble action. On the other hand I think pastels are not meant to be used with water, for this purpose better use the Albretch Durer line from Faber. Nice drawings by the way!!
