I did this on accident ngl, because the hisuian forms are dummy strong, starters are great Hisuian liligant is one of the 2 dual type grass types in the early game, alongside roserade and has dummy strong stats and free drain punch Hisuian arcanine, is arcanine but bulkier which means better use of flare blitz and its other stupidly op okho moves Basculigeion is strong but hard to get (this applies to overqwill and wyrdeer too, I didn’t use these) Hisuian sneasler and electrode are great liligant upgrades, it takes both of its types and adds electric and poison respectively Avalugg is unique and probably good but I haven’t used it at all so I want your comments about it The last 2 I used were braviary and zorarark, they are just strong, stupid strong As for kleavor and urslauna, it can be hard to get but I know they are really strong, it’s just overlap (with stealth rocks being on my starter and kleavor, and normal counters with zorarak The one I saved for last was h goodra bc it’s a tanks revenge killer that is also funnily strong My final team became: Samaraout h Luxray~H goodra Starraptor~Gliscor~H zorarark (or braviary, I swapped between them) Biberial (I farmed the beuitifly early with rollout)~h liligant~h electrode Gengar~H snesal Ponyta~H arcanine

My reason for playing with retries on is that to me its a puzzle. Why did I lose? Is it possible to win? What am I not seeing? I tried a battle like 30 times once being swept by a Mewtwo's psychic, even drawing a map of all the possible turns, only to realize I had Weavile who I forgot was immune to Psychic the whole time, and then disregarding the carefully planned paths I had discovered and easily sweeping lol. Another time I was down to 2 very weak Pokémon against a team of 5 and found a way after dozens of attempts. THAT feeling is the best ever for me! So if youre the type who likes Chess, puzzles or escape rooms, I recommend both playing the Daily Challenge and using retries.
