Fight Song Guy: College Marching and Pep Bands

I have traveled to numerous football games throughout the years. I have been to over 200 FBS college football stadiums and over 600 games. Passion is traveling to college football games and have seen almost all major rivialies. I also travel to basketball tournaments in March. I have been to every major conference, and now looks like all I have left are small basketball tournaments to go to. Sharing my experience on this channel for people who like the marching bands and pep bands.

My great grandma (from VA) used to ban my dad and his brothers from watching UGA games because she was so scandalized that they played Battle Hymn in their fight song. She apparently called Georgia “Sherman’s School.” 😂BTW her son, my granddad, went to Georgia Tech

I hate to be critical, but what's the point of those flag girls? They didn't have those when I went to Purdue, albeit in a different century.
You mean the color guard? They spin/toss flags and rifles for parades and performances for visual effect. They are common in almost all modern marching bands and drum corps
I'm so proud to have graduated from Purdue (last century), that I cry whenever I hear this song.
