What do you seal the windrow with? 7:10
Good question! We use more mature but not yet finished compost (usually 3-8 week old hot compost material) - use a 8"-16" layer of seal onto the outside of the windrow.

Hard to believe this dude set himself on fire
The guy that set himself on fire yesterday was Wynn Bruce. This man David Buckel did it in 2018. Rest in peace to both of them.

@@happymonkey9416 it is quite extreme and he was an attorney. Could have done a lot more good in the world if he didn’t set himself on fire.
What if he didn’t set himself on fire? What if it was someone else’s body and he just disappeared and moved far away in a mountain because he wants fresh air. An attorney can manage a body maybe. Idk it seems odd that he left a package for police to find and he wanted to spread this news of death. He wanted to make a big deal out of it. Maybe he is alive and watching these comments and enjoying life somewhere far in the woods.

I know all too well that a feeling of deep despondency can be hard to overcome, but it's a shame such an intelligent man didn't realize taking his own life would only amount to a brief, and largely political, statement. He was making a significant, long-lasting, environmental & social statement with his composting program, not to mention teaching others to nurture & carry that statement forward. I wish he had figured out it would be a better choice to continue that work. The odds may seem overwhelming at times, but if we all contribute what we can to solving societies problems, we'll find workable solutions along the way. We'll make friends and promote community.

These hippie liberals are so insane, I would not be surprise if this guy killed himself to stop global warming.
So So Sorry, this man was tireless, I think it's pretty easy to understand his feelings. Given the things the current administration is doing insofar-as dismantling all the things that have been really making a difference, it broke not only his heart but his soul too. I can't imagine the pain that goes with something like this, it's simply, unspeakable. My God my heart is breaking for him, and for those that loved and knew him best. I pray he is at peace. RIP David.
God gives us so few of these exceptional people. We never seem to have them with us for long enough though. I hope his soul is at peace.

This proves he could have done so much more by staying alive..... now I think first he will be thought of as a mental case with none of the thought going to all the good he has done. So sad.....
So many people in this world do so many stupid and selfish and horrible things that these people could really frustrate one to death, if not to insanity. David had so much passion in the cause that when his voice did not get heard, all he could do was demonstrate by action. The world lost another beautiful person it could not afford.
