I just had to register a second dba recently. I know ill have to update fincen information which Fugured out how to. I could not figure out how to update ein info on the IRS site though. I guess according to this video i wont have to worry about the ein part.

Still at idea stage , why would I want to have 2 llc companies and don’t care about liability. What’s going to go wrong (liability) , rural businesses don’t think that details. Big companies like google or Microsoft have one big company. No one cares about lawsuits, I don’t do crazy stuff to get into lawsuits. When you have one company, it’s obviously easy to manage, you can use same marketing people for example for different products, use common resources. In rural India, people do this kind of stuff, are you going to have different marketing teams for each companies? Same for engineers, etc

I got one of these last year and I took it very seriously, since I couldn't lawyer up, I did as they said and they stopped bothering me after that point. I would recommend if you get one and you can't lawyer up, just do what they want and get it over with, so they can stop bothering you.

What if neither LLC will have any assets besides intelectual property? E.g. an indie game studio

As a performing artist, considering what to set up, I want minimal paperwork and overhead. I was thinking of doing a sole proprietorship with DBA instead of an LLC, because what is somebody going to sue me for playing a bad song? 😂

Genuine question. I have a friend who has been imprisoned on a life sentence. 2 years ago who requested transfer to another prison and broke all contact(including with family), I requested contact again via the UK Gov prison site which he declined, his birthday just passed and of course it made me think of him so i request again this year. I want to creat gym apparel brand and live in the UK but there’s already a business in the US for gym supplements with the same name. I believe it’s trademarked as ‘… Muscle LLC’ and as I said in the US. Could I use something like ‘… Fit’ seeing as I’d be just apparel, not supplements and in a different country? No one in my county seems to be using the brand name but seeing as there’s one overseas and within the same industry it’s aimed at I just don’t know. However there is an airport named "Sky Harbor international" in my state of Arizonia. Now they are an airport and I am a coffee business. How would something like this play out, any thoughts?

So let's say me and three partners had a Business with a logo. We abandon it. And they are not using it for anything. Can I use the logo and alter it for a new business?
