Culligan S200C Water Filter Replacement and I-Spring Water Filter Cleaning. Easy To Do. DIY
Hello All
This is just a simple video for replacing the water filters for both of my Culligan S200C cannisters as well as cleaning out the spin down I-Spring Filter. I let the water filters run too too long that the water pressure upstairs was significantly less than before.
My I-Spring filter, I should have spun down every 30 days to prevent the build up of sediment that you see in the video. For my Culligan, I used the 20 micron and 5 micron carbonated filter. These work pretty well for me and do not plan on reducing the micron size further.
Ensure the O-rings are still intact when removing the canisters to all filters. I definitely recommend using food grade Silicon grease to coat the O-Rings. I do have extra rings, but they do not need changing at this time.
Afterwards, always check for leaks not just with the canisters after placement, but also the piping system as well. I was fortunate that after checking my system after 24 and 48 hours later, there were no leaks.

Whole house water filtration with Culligan WH S200C and iSpring Filter. Aqua pure scale inhibitor.

After Installing the Aquapure Descaler, I started noticing that it stopped making a difference with our water faucets, toilet bowl, etc. Thereafter, I also noticed sediment buildup in the toilet bowls as well, which later I found out it was also clogging up the descaler. So after careful research, I decided to install a whole house filter made by Culligan. I chose the Culligan filters due to it...
Pouring BAGGED concrete for a driveway in sections, DIY. NO CEMENT TRUCK, 24x14. 4 inch slab.

Concrete Driveway in sections. This was a challenge I could not pass up. The entire space I need to complete is a 24x14 feet driveway or 336 square feet. No cement truck was needed as I felt it defeated the purpose of a complete DIY project. There are too many videos out there that say DIY, but soon after, a cement truck pulls right up, which kills the fun. With careful research and understandi...

DIY Nissan Rogue AC Clutch Replacement Made Simple

The AC on the Nissan Rogue went out 2 weeks ago, despite proper freon pressure and no blown fuses. After trouble shooting the problem, I was able to find that the clutch was not engaging. So far so good. Knock on wood….

Great work. It looks great.. I have to do the same, I am of an avid DIY-er. Getting an estimate soon, let see how much before I decide to tackle it myself. Thanks for the video. You got a new subscriber.
Awesome!! Thank you for watching and subscribing! Please let me know the estimate. I’d be interested!
Great job
Looks great! Did you consider putting expansion joint material between each slab?
Thank you for watching. For this project, I did not think it was necessary. The majority of the driveway is basically under the carport. Perhaps if it was exposed, I would have considered it. :)
great job, thanks, I am thinking of doing a similar project
Good luck on your project!!! Let me know how it goes!!! Thanknyou for watching
Good video. What size is that 3 arm pulley tool? Thanks
Hello! I have purchased the item on Amazon. MOFEEZ 3" 4" 6" 3 Jaw Gear... www.amazon.com/dp/B07C9MRC7N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I believe it was the 6 inch pulley. But you can purchased in harbor freight.

@@dog_biter of course. Good luck with your project! Let me know how it goes. Definately check out Gregvancom on CZcams. He does a great tutorial On this very idea.
Would this work for 09 nissan murano ? Thank you so much !
That’s a great question. The Nissan rogue is a like a mini version of the murano. I’d imagine it would be the same, but I would double check on the part you need to replace this
Thank you, exactly the tutorial i was looking for!
@@HousatonicLive2 of course. I’m happy to help :). Thank you for watching!

This video is giving me the confidence to pour my own parking pad. Good job, it looks great.
That’s awesome. It can be done. Take breaks in between and work slowly. :)
Your prep work was excellent.
Thanks for watching!!!!
Nice work bro. Cheers for the vid
Thank you!!! :)
Have you set these up to be turned on and off automatically? Does that Wi-Fi outlet have that option?
Yes. I have them on in the winter time. My initial plan was to do the rest of the house, but I marked that off my list to do.
Very nice job! The smaller sections were a great call. I just did a 10x10 slab with that big mixer solo. It was a huge mistake for me to try such a big area at once. Trying to manage the mixing, the transporting, and the finishing within the cement working time was a problem. Definitely a 2 or even 3 person job. I intend to do more, but I'll be splitting it into smaller, more manageable sections for sure.
I wish I had more help, but unfortunately everyone is far and few. Doing sections was much easier, but still laborious. After the driveway is complete, I still Have to lay more concrete slab for a bbq island idea. Good luck with your project. Keep me posted :)
I watched a dozen of these...terrible! Then Yours popped up, Fantastically Done! Thanks
Thanks Flynn!!! You have a great day!!! Hope it helped!
Great job I understand working alone.
Thanks Michael! I appreciate that!

Awesome job bro!
Thank you!!!
I’m definitely going to try this! 😬 I got this! 😅
@@LinDG8457 awesome!!!! Let me know how it goes
Did you investigate using metal mesh vs rebar?
Mesh would have worked , but using rebar was my better option. Because I poured concrete in sections, I wanted all the slabs connected with each other. However, if you get a cement truck to pour the whole slab at once, then mesh would have been the better option.
OH MAN!!! You did your thing. 😆
Why do you use 2 fitters
There are actually three filters. Each one filters different size particles. If I were to use just one, the it would clog up more and quickly. By having three or possibly even more, this extends the life of the filters.
I install the filter, the arrow is pointing on the direction of my well, i let the faucet open the whole time, after finish everything, i dont see no water flowing inside the filter, like you are showing, am i doing anything wrong? Thanks
It sounds like you installed it in reverse. The arrow should be pointing in the direction of the water flow to the house. Not to the well. Let me know if this helps. Otherwise send me a pic of your setup.
Ok i just flip it back, the water came in when i first install it byt after that i dont see any water in it, is it right?
@@AJDIYNetwork also the blue button on top is pointing in the direction if the arrow where the water flow, i did not turn it
@@ralphwhitaker8761 you now have filtered water :)
Ok thanks so much
This has been super helpful! Thank you ❤
line the shoot with plastic to make it flow easier.
Absolutely. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for reaffirming NOT to hand mix that size of a “pad”. I will put that effort into that effort into my profession and make more money, no health dangers, and it will be done right. Otherwise good job on the video.
WHAT'S the reason for using the STEEL Bars and wiremesh on Concretes(when pouring the cement into it) ??
It basically keeps the entire slab as a single unit structurally and gives added support.
I poured my 16x24ft shop floor in sections like you did, only I drilled rebar holes in the finished slabs to extend rebar into the next slab. I used a Harbor Freight concrete mixer to mix two 60 lb bags at a time. It was labor intensive...but saved me about $9K over what I was quoted by a concrete company. 15yrs later, and the floor is still in great shape.
That’s awesome!!!!!!
this is great..thank you for the encouragement,,I want to try this
@dog_biter awesome!!!! :)
hwio great job, buds
Good video, good honesty, HARD WORK lmao you could not have overstated this haha
Just two more slabs to go…. (Sigh)
well, at least you didn't "dry pour" it
Wow nice man! I'm getting ready to DIY something really similar myself, thankfully I have a Mud Mixer at my disposal and my dad and brother but thanks for sharing, definitely learned something and inspired me.

I like the first "mistake" that is curved edge. It gives it character. Keep it!
Hey my hatch just stopped working, it's not making any noise when I push my buttons. I can only open it from the inside pushing the little white button. Do you think if I replace it the way you did in the video it might solve the issue?
That definately sounds different than the problem I had. It sounds like the latch, but I can’t be sure. I’m sorry I couldn’t help
@@AJDIYNetwork no worries, thank you for getting back to me.
I'll answer that with a DEFINITE YES!! I had the EXACT same problem. DO it with confidence and save your time watching other videos, this ones the absolute best. Good luck!!
I did a MUCH smaller job with a more powerful hand mixer and it was horrible at best. You're a trooper to have done that much without a proper mixer.
Hell of a job, looks good
looks good
Good job, mate. Turned out really good.
You did a great job sir !!
Awesome. Thank you very much for watching!
How much gravel did you use unless I missed it? Do you always have to have slope towards or away? For example, I have a concrete porch, when I redo it does it have to slope slightly to the left or right of the house? What % or measurement away? Same thing with a parking pad beside house should it slope to the left or right? Do I need a french drain on either to improve drainage?
Hello. And thank you for watching. I used approximately 2 inches of gravel give or take. The rest is concrete. As for the slope, I don’t think you need a French drain. It’s just added work if you decide to make one. My goal Was to keep the slope away from the house. You don’t want water draining towards the house as is may affect your foundation to the house. As for percentage, I am sure there is a specific number, but I basically used the same level and made sure the bubble was touching the line to the area I am sloping. Although very subtle, I know the water, if and when it does happen(remember, it’s under the carport) it will drive the water AWAY from the house or foundation. I hope this helps.
Great job! It was great to see you work with your father.
Hey! Thanknyou so much! You have a great evening!
The old saying is not if it's going to crack but when it's going to crack. I don't know I think that's pretty much true but in this case unless somebody drives a huge vehicle or you're in the middle of an arctic tundra that's NEVER going to crack!!!
lol!!! Well said! Thank you for watching!
Correction not when but where that's what you put joints in for to force cracking in those areas
Great job man. 👍
Thank you very much for watching!!!
