I'd highly recommend simultaneous record You think you dont need it until you experience a card failure... Especially if it has dual slots I pretty much leave a card in the second slot as a fail safe
Never experienced it myself but I always recommend if you have the slots to use ✊🏾
5:32 It's just here you say you don't need it on because you back it up immediately I've personally experienced, and have heard from other acquaintances of nightmare scenarios where the card fails I was a freelance cam op shooting the CEO for a big company in Hollywood, producer who owned the camera refused to give me two cards "We don't need it, I don't want to have to delete the extra footage later." Sure enough, he went home, card was corrupted Nothing was recoverable, everything was lost Even Sony themselves couldn't resolve it He blamed everyone under the sun but himself Could have so easily have been prevented Another buddy I know shot an entire 12 hour shoot on one SD card and then when he got home the card failed, had to flip the bill on reshooting the entire thing One of the big benefits of a dual slot camera is that extra insurance the footage is saved Imo cards are so cheap of the camera has two slots there is no excuse

Love this combo use it everyday actually, idk how I would change it up lol it’s literally the best of both worlds, wide and tight.
That's an APS-C lens, I have both that camera and that lens. Go a bit wider at 14mm f/2.8 (Rokinon again) that'll cover your whole sensor
Facts that sounds better cause I do have to use APSC mode with this one

It’s going to be hard, as it only tops out at 1080 pixel binned resolution so it’s kind unusable.
I mean, is it really that bad? I’m thinking to buy one.. Switching from a Nikon D5100.
If your looking video then it’s that bad but if your photo heavy it’ll be great

I saw this video like a min ago but ran into it again because I was trying to mess around with the Atomos Ninja V through a connect out of my FS5MII and it is a nogo on SDI. the recorder recognizes the signal a raw signal but still doesnt let me capture raw. Like OMG. I guess I will have to stick to my Infernos on these cameras.

Well i have an option to buy a6400 with 55-210 on the same price should i do it or should i buy the a7II with 24-70 And i get them for around 700$ A6400 is a bit cheaper at around 600$ (aprox)

All true, but that A7 III is flawed (Shutter) falls apart and you don't know if it will be your camera when purchasing.

Ive tried copying the exact settings but i cant get f2.8 my sony a7ii only goes to F4.5 and the screen is really dark. Can you please help with this?
Try changing ISO and or stutter speed they all work together so if it’s not balanced good you can either be too dark or to light

Nope if it’s dark turn your iso up if you’re at 4.5 you should be seeing something
