some reasons to update your BIOS on your Dell laptop include fixing overheating issues, problems with graphics, CPU compatibility, enable security features, bug fixes and optimization. You should check at least every 6 months for updates.

Im hoping the tiny screws will allow me to put 2 in one oil onto the axle or bearings ,so it stops the loud whirring sound i hear coming from it.
Yes. just keep track of all your screws.
Dust is too thick and wouldn't come out.
You can unscrew tiny screws on the fan and clean the blades.
Not every laptop will overheat and stop working, but most do if they don't get cleaned out.

couldnt figure out why my video card was running so hot,(ATI radeon 5770) i usually clean my whole case out once a month at work with compressed air,i decided to take the card apart and put some new thermal paste on it,the heat sink is held down with 4 screws and even though you dont need to take it off i decided to do it,what a surprise,the side of the sink thats hidden next to the fan was 80% plugged up with thick ass dust,its running now 38 degrees playing call of duty graphics maxed out

Where the hell was it used in ? Iraq ?:) Its so dusty.I had my PC not cleaned for like 7-8 years and it wasn't more then 3 mm dust,here is like 2 cm thick
