These lock are useless and the manufacture knows it, no way should I have gotten a Tridon Locking Fuel Cap TFL227 off twice within 10 seconds simply by pulling it out as it turns, trick is to pull right where the treads meet. If I can figure that out first time I'm sure others and the manufacture know all to well.

Yes make sure you put chocks under the wheels to prevent it from moving out of park. Especially since you’re jacking it up.
