how am i just now notcing that when earthbound utilizes mother 1 songs they usually are a small part of the whole, or have some filter over them to make them sound more "pre-recorded"
Hey how do you get access to the sequenced sound files? I’ve been trying to transcribe this one particular piece from rhythm heaven and could never quite hear each part individually until this video appeared in my recommended, I’d love to get my hands on it myself to try and mess around with it, any advice? no worries! hope this helps: 1. obtain a rom of the game 2. download a program called vgmtrans and open the rom file in that program 3. find the song you want to do, right click and save as a MIDI and the DLS file (or sf2 if your DAW uses an sf2) 4. open the MIDI file in your DAW of choice (i use fl studio) and patch the DLS file to it 5. there u go! youre now free to isolate each track and edit the notes. bear in mind that not every track in rhythm heaven has the ability to be sequenced. most mini games (except for built to scale) and remixes 1-5 cant be sequenced due to them not being MIDI files.
