Me and Dad decided to take his Datsun 1600 rally car out for a spin at Eastern Creek on the GP Circuit with driving sports. The car went reasonably well considering it was still in full rally trim minus the Semi slicks.

This weekend we headed up the Hampton for the Back to the Past Khanacross held by HDCC at the club grounds. Dad and I drove his Datsun 1600 Rally Car again. It’s always good being behind the wheel of this thing. I managed 2nd place 🥈 outright and Dad managed 3rd place 🥉

Made my way up to Raleigh Raceway for Joybash. So glad I made the trip. Got to drive with an awesome bunch of people and meet some new internet friends. None of this footage is mine it’s all thanks to Llew for the camera and Harrison for spending 2 days on track filming everyone.

Was lucky enough for Dad to let me drive his car at a Khanacross we both did a couple months ago. First time racing with more than 95kw and boy was it a blast. Beat Dad by a tenth of a second and I’ve been told I’m not allowed to drive it anymore lol.

Headed up to Jononatts with limited tires and limited talent. Car was a little down on power as well but we changed the diff ratio so that kind of band aided that problem. Just a short video of some of my best runs. All in car and pov. POV camera angle needs work. Enjoy

Hey man this is awesome! Ive had a 78 120y for a while now and plan on throwing on the track. Out of curiosity i saw in a past video you said it has an A15 in it, i was wondering if the A14 mine has is similar in any way or what i may have to do to an a14? Besides the webers of course. Thankyou for any input my guy and keep slaying the bee!

Would you say 120y parts are expensive or hard to find?
Depends on the part. Most parts overlap with other Datsuns or other Datsun parts fit. Most Datsun stuff is a little on the expensive side because it’s either custom and or made in small batches. But you’re nearly always getting something good quality and has a lot of time put into it. Most stuff isn’t too hard to find if you know where to look.

Just stumbled on your page and I absolutely love your content. I own a Datsun 210 and I've been dying to slide it around. What mods have you done to the car and what differential are you using?
It’s got a 1200 Ute H165 with a Kaaz 1.5 way 3.9 diff. As for the other mods I will be doing a walk around of the car so stay tuned for that.
