I love this number. It goes on forever and just keeps adding to itself as it does. It’s like someone stopped giving a damn and decided to see how far it could go before the actors lost their voices or literally dropped from exhaustion.
LOL. I love how you said that- however, this number is in the tradition of the musicals of the past, where a community must come in to lift the main character and to show that their goal is worth the struggle- like My Fair Lady at the dance or at Ascot, or a bit smaller when all the nuns come to sing “Climb Every Mountain” along with the wedding guests ❤️

She's great. i love her. However, for some reason she always came off older than Elle was supposed to be. I almost got the feeling it was a Peggy Sue got Married thing where she had lived another 20 years and was then returned to the same body to redo this part of her life. It's like she was wiser...and vaguely patronizing during the whole role. Bailey Hanks was better IMO. She was, however, somehow perfect as Glinda in Wicked...even though that character is arguably younger.
