Taliesin is the personal home, studio, school, and 800-acre agricultural estate of architect Frank Lloyd Wright near Spring Green, Wisconsin. With buildings from nearly every decade of Wright's life from the 1890's to the 1950's on land homesteaded by his Welsh grandparents, Taliesin is one of the most significant architectural anthologies in the world. It is often described as Wright's autobiography in wood and stone. Taliesin Preservation is its steward, responsible for preserving its cultural, built, and natural landscapes with historical integrity, and to continue to fill the estate with life through public access programming.
