Andromeda and the Milky way are on a collision course. Although due to the space between stars the "collision" will be more like a merger. In a very tenuous way the galaxies are technically already beginning to touch, but for the merger to become apparent (as in what one would imagine it would look like) it'll take another 4 billion years. Around the time the sun is burning out. Also, the solar system is inside of a nebulous cloud. These nebulae are so stretched thin that when close up or in them, you wouldn't know they were there. So to us it seems like clear space but at a distance of a few thousand light-years it would look like what you normally would think of as a nebula. I'm not sure if we're passing through this cloud or moving with it.

You're just not going to convince me that any form of life survived the rigors of space long enough to learn to travel at the required speeds to colonize the galaxy and simultaneously give a single crap about some comparative bugs like us. I just don't believe aliens have ever been here. I'm sure they're out there on some planet impossibly far away but they're not visiting us.

If the walls/ancient megaliths are poured and not cut, why would the one rock (in the photo you provided) be poured to be at an angle on the inside edge instead of poured at a straight 90º angle? The fact that they aren't uniform doesn't make sense to me if your were building with pre-poured cement blocks.
