Out of curiosity I created a basic configuration of LinuxCNC using Stepconf Wizard, it is very simple and functional. I used the structure of a small laser, modified, adding the Z axis and optical home/limit switches.

nice video, you need make video how beginner user build touch plate , i not has seen yotube any good touch plate systeem videos whit linuxcnc, 2.8.4 version, i not understand how make new button to display screen and were location need add button file, same error hs lot not qworking how make button call G-code what have code move bit right position and make G38,2 touch code, and not understand were this code need add file name and location, and what need add to ini and hall file. not totally understand why my codes not qworking, error if bush button in display touch plate, come error and not do anythink. need make video how this make step by step and were file folder location must be.
HI Here ----- wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Adding_Custom_MDI_Buttons ------ it explains well how to create a button in the GUI the example creates a button to return Rapid to Home Position you in MDI-COMMAND will have to put "MDI_COMMAND=o<touch_off_z>call" call the file touch_plate.ncg which is in the examples folder /home/yourname/linuxcnc/nc_files/examples/probe/basic_probe/macros. The touch_plate file will need to be adapted to your needs in [RS274NGC] SUBROUTINE_PATH = path must point to where you have the macro in question HI

hi, I have never used that card, but I have seen several tutorials, I think that with the LCNC wizard it is not complicated, what do you need exactly?
@@jjdege_CNC hello, thanks for your message, my problem is that I need to wire my spindle vfd (omron mx2) to the mesa card and reading the vfd manual makes no sense to me, I want to use the mesa card analog output but I do not know enough electronics on how to do so..
@@edumerc1 HI I saw that the 7i96S for the spindle comes out in PWM and your inverter accepts that type of signal, the 7i96S is there in the LCNC wizard, it won't be difficult for you to configure everything.

ciao non c'è un codice G per quei movimenti, sono in jog, qui invece ho modificato un G-code messo on line da un utente del forum di LinuxCNC, czcams.com/video/dn1QDooK4xI/video.html. i 5 assi nel file .hal vanno configurati come configuri i 3/4 assi bisogna cambiare la cinematica e modificare alcune cose nel file .ini, io ho preso spunto dalle configurazioni standard che già esistono in LinuxCNC, nella sezione sim/axis/vismach/5axis/table-rotary-tilting
