Katerine Silva and Gabe Robins improvise an Argentine Tango dance at Grace Winery, VA, April 21, 2024. This was a completely impromptu dance, without any prior choreography or rehearsal between these two dancers. Another version of this video, taken by another camera, is posted at tinyurl.com/5h4h7efz ( i.e. Charlottesvillesalsaclub/videos/1130616941474426/ )
Catherine Noblitt and Adam Mehring dancing a beautiful impromptu waltz (Feb 2024)

Catherine Noblitt and Adam Mehring dancing a beautiful impromptu waltz at a dance party at Gabe Robins' house (February 23, 2024). Amazingly, this dance was entirely unchoreographed, and this was the first time these two dancers ever met! This is a great example of superb lead-and-follow dance skills. What a LEGACY for his kids and us.
This is heart breaking. This moment was so critical. His understanding this was one of the last few moments to leave an impact and a legacy. Wow. Just truly touched me and was hard to watch in the end.
I can’t see Diane Sawyer without thinking of her inappropriate interview with Brittney Spears. Am I the only person with this feeling?
An amazing human being. So real.
rest in peace.
Working on a Friday night at 10:00 pm, Randy P? What works for some, doesn't work for others. There are valuable lessons expressed here, Randy, and it was your life experience that taught them to you. But every life is different. And everyone has a different path they must follow. Lead your life the right way, you say? The karma will come to you? I agree in being ethical but that doesn't mean that just because you lead your life the "right way" that bad things can't happen to you. After all, you're dead now, Randy. Cancer killed you. And you led your life, the right way, didn't you? You do inspire, Randy. But the time honored tradition of "work hard" and "play by the rules" is not a premise equally shared in American culture. Matter of fact, some might say you're a sucker if you do!
Third head fake: it's about the people you surround yourself with and lifting each other up
I watched this years ago and it left such an indelible impression on me. His profound words of wisdom. I watched it again this morning and realize that this man was a true Earth Angel whom blessed so many that crossed his path including mine.
This content is overflowing with insightful and provocative perspectives. Reading a book with similar topics expanded my understanding in multiple dimensions. "Dominating Your Clock: Strategies for Professional and Personal Success" by Anthony Rivers
I graduated from high school in June of this year. I invited my 6th-grade reading teacher to my graduation party and asked her if she could gift me a book to keep. She gifted me with his book. So uplifting!

Can you please upload lecture 25 going over the algorithms that are approximate ("Quick & Dirty") as mentioned at the end of the class? Its not listed on your website nor is it on your youtube playlist. Would appreciate it very much, thank you.
Audio keeps breaking up
Really bad audio and video with this one...

Amazing content, a hidden gem on youtube! Thanks Professor Gabriel Robins for sharing your insights and knowledge with us for free!
Awesome lecture at the end regarding AI and the Turing Test!
Completely lost on the Polygon part at the end....
Around minute 53: regarding these two statements on the slide "Emptying N into W & L takes n/2 comparisons" but "Emptying most of W takes n/2-1 comparisons"....why is there a -1 for the Emptying of W or L?
Hi Dr Gabriel, do you have a video on your lecrure for the topic "The Turing test, robotics, and the technological singularity"? I'd love to hear your thoughts and watch your lecture on that intriguing topic.
Beautiful visualisation of using the stairs for the Gaus classical problem! Btw I think this is a much better visualisation of the 1/8 geometric series using a Heptagon rather than a 3D cube: czcams.com/video/u0L7rvNumjw/video.html
Thank you for uploading your lectures, very informative and insightful!
In memory of Randy pausch
Nice work in wearable computers! Thanks for sharing this
so so touching and deeply emotional it has been very long since last i watched an hour long video but this is exceptional
Huge thanks to the Pivot and Travis Kelce for mentioning this speech🙌
Just read the book
This is one of the first videos I ever watched on CZcams, and it was life-changing. This is what legacy should look like for every American. I am so grateful that Mr. Pauch shared this part of his life with the public.
The birthday song was the nicest thing

I’m required to read this book for school. Definitely don’t judge a book by its cover. I thought it would be boring but once I started reading it I couldn’t stop. This book really teaches a good lesson and touches the heart.
It’s 2022, and here I am watching this after reading his book. Randy Pausch, u da best!
Finally found this soung

He sounds like Jim Carrey
Wish work life is richer like his. And how proud it would be to have colleagues like that .
Thanks for uploading these for free. Great work
As a 3 year old I dreamed of "Sewing a Net" around the world. This recurring dream continued til around the age of 10. Today I help kids with. ASD, ADHD & Dyslexia. Can someone tell me more about his "Sewing Nets?"
I come back and watch this 2022 this time. I watch to re-learn the lessons.
No one has inspired me more, than Randy Pausch!
Great interview..thank you randy pausch. You inspired me

I had to read his book years ago for a college class and write a paper on any of the concepts he talks about. (Mine was time management). After reading the book I watched this video. Still inspiring and entertaining to all who watch. His legacy continues to grow.
Ugh Diane Sawyers voice is cringe!!!!
CovidImages need to be invested more than half19
I may be a little late here but it warms my hesrt to know that this lecture was so long ago and yet here I am still being quite possibly changed for the rest of my life after watching. As well as reading.
I agree with you!
It was a pleasure working with you, Randy. Godspeed.
