Lately I can’t get the idea of a hybird gas/electric bike out of my head. Could have the instant torque of electric and be able to switch from batteries to a motor to charge them. Maybe even use an alternator to go directly to the electric engine? They make one with a removable generator but my idea is more than just running a generator on the bike to charge it.

Building a tribriyd also but to be honest I kould really use some help!... I already had my 100cc 2stroke running smoothy! I decided I wanted a tribrid to have the best of both worlds (gas and electric) i add the imotor 3.0 for the front wheel because it's a simple setup considering it's all in one wheel (was trying to avoid complications) however while it rides electric just fine but I gotta have the clutch lever pulled down all the way for it to go then when I go to start gas motor the two just seem to work against each other instead of working together! Any help anyone can offer!? I'd really appreciate it!....

0:49 I'm curious how the V-twin motorcycle engine connected to the dragster engine & synchronized to run together.. I kinda like the idea of a AWD Baja VW beetle with a V twin engine up front & rear V twin engine. It would make for a very interesting car & also good weight distribution.

Mine isn't burnt and reads connected with the meter. When in the unit, it would run about half a second, stop, wait 10 seconds, then run half s second and repeat. Could this still be the mov?

Thank you. I have one in a 410 package unit( I retired in 2008) and always figured if/when it went out I would convert to a PSC motor. Thanks for pointing out it could just be a thermistor fried.

What is the Thermistor part number did you use please, the one in my ecm motor module Thermistor burn out is NTC 1,0 1024 , BUT I find this part anywhere in canada

I’m definitely going to try this. My SG349 or SL32 is burnt right off. But what is exact replacement part? There seems to be several that meet SL32. I have a carrier with motor assy: hd52ae121. 1hp - 115v. ECM. Its in a 8000vs unit. Oh and where to buy these thermistors. I found on amazon… will see if I can get locally. Thx for vid. what do you do if the end-bell housing is full of silicone?

I did this repair a couple years ago. A year later I thought I had a bad bearing in my carrier infinity inducer motor, but have determined the the main blower motor is making a intermittent high pitched whine (g#5 note) when on first stage. I "think" it's related to the module, but not sure. Anyone?

No better feeling on the world then hiding track records in any form of racing I have 3 track records in oval track asphalt racing one i set when I was 10 in my mustang ministock at a small quarter mile track and that was oin 2002 and it still has not been beat to this day cuse it was a unicorn lap perfect lap perfect car and all and the other two just got beat in pro latemodel and dirt modifieds I held those for 9 years till they just got broke cuse they changed the engine rules in the dirt modified class and they changed tires in asphalt pro latemodels which sucks but oh well I don't race anymore I'm 30 and quit 3 years ago

My Genteq 1/2 hp model 5SME39HX1344 died and it costs $800+ to have it replaced. I asked to keep the motor because I figured it may be repairable. I saw this and think it's worth a shot. The end plate is filled with black rubber giving no access to the other side. There is only 2 capacitors and the Varistor SL22 1R020 sits out by itself giving easy access. I intend break the varistor and solder the new part to the exposed parts. Found the part at Digi-Key for $1.94 plus shipping. Fingers crossed.

I'm thinking here in 2022 could use WEGO lever wire nuts -- coat it up with liquid tape ?

You can also remove the two screws holding the green board in place, flip it over, and de-solder the old thermistor from the back to pull it out entirely. Then solder a new one in cleanly. If you check the backside of the board, you'll likely find the old connection is burnt up too and in my non-professional opinion, is better to remove it all and start fresh.

They are filling the board with hard black epoxy now. Probably to prevent repair. I'm going to see if enough of my old part is sticking out to break it apart and fix.

I 100% love it. I'll try to make something like that too. If you can add some links or some tips on to build it or how you built it that'd be great. Otherwise I guess it's just slappin a gas engine and a electri motor and running each one at a time?

Why do you take so much time to make a pass? Do your burnout then stage it and run. It never ceased to amaze me how little Jr dragster people care about trying to get the program ran. Why do you need people out on the track in the water box? It makes like 30hp just run it.

This is great the manufacturers leave one part exposed, I hope that's the one that goes bad. There are many motors that go bad and it's not the thermistor causing the problem. But you can't get to the other circuitry to replace them because they potted the circuit, they are also very inexpensive parts.

Is this laptop upgradable to 4gb?
