Archery: Competitors use traditional Mongolian bows to hit small leather targets from a distance. Both men and women participate in archery competitions, and it is a highly respected sport.
Naadam is Mongolia's most famous festival, often called the "Three Manly Games." It celebrates the three traditional archery, wrestling, and horse racing sports. The festival typically takes place in July and is a national holiday.
