Each month: - First pay yourself: transfer a fixed amount from your salaries to a saving account, i.e.maximum that will not lower comfort of your life substantially, leaving out: rental, bills, groceries, entertainment and some other likely spendings - Then pay your rent & bills - Then the budget for groceries and others divide into 4 weeks and try to stick to this budget, living normal life In case of urgent unexpected event, serious needs or some miscalculations: just cover extra needs from the money saved on savings account. If you are aware of your spending (you seem to) and more or less reasonable, it will work. The time saved from giving up on those cuties-yummy-organisers-folders-envelopes-God-knows-what spend on an evening walk or just doing nothing👌😀😘

I use the "shes in her apron " planner semester version. I use the main planner page for planning, while she uses the additional one for home school, I use it for tracking all monies. It has meal plan section and many other things I've been utilizing. I no longer have kids at home. However, still very useful planner.

I personally love the disc planners by Happy Planner. I appreciate that I don’t have to open any rings. You get to simply rip out the pages and click them back in on the discs. I learned about these awesome planners from watching Happy2planwithDesiree.

If Dollar Tree still has them, get the ball launchers from there!! We have multiple launchers, and they have held up great, and we use it pretty much everyday!! My dog loves fetch/balls. I will say the balls from Dollar Tree are not great, but the launchers are!

Kristen, good luck on wedding planning, I don't have any new words of wisdom since next year would have marked 29 years since I got married so as you know inflation has changed the cost of everything. I think I only spent about $5000 on my whole wedding and reception, however, we did have a small reception of about 150 people and we had a BBQ with some donated beef and pork as we live in the Midwest in a farming community and we got married in a Sale Barn. We wanted something simple so that is what we did. My oldest niece is getting married next month and she is doing a venue wedding in Georgia, which seems to be popular, but I have no clue how much that cost, but I don't think it is cheap. Just do what you like and enjoy your day! Also, I can relate to the allergies this summer, I never have summer allergies only spring time, but this past July they have been awful! Take care!

Loved the video. I'm like you . I never drempt of some big elaborate wedding, so my favorite bit of planning advice to offer is dont spend a ton of money on flowers/decorations, unless of course they are super important to you. let me explain myself..lol.. i had a VERY large wedding reception, resulting in me needing to decorate close to 40 tables.Truth be told. all of my centerpieces were various glass vases bought at local thrift stores and filled with fresh cut flowers/baby's breath/greens etc purchased from Sams club. ( made friends with the flower lady at Sams she was kind enough to assist in making sure we had lots of my color scheme to choose from that week.😅 We bought the flowers 1 and 2 days in advance and kept them in 5 gallon buckets with water until the day of the wedding,then just sort of threw random arrangements together the morning of). No one was none the wiser. I gave all of my centerpieces away at the end of the night to whoever wanted them. So many people were like, are you sure, and it was so fun to say please take them and no i dont want the vase back 😊. After all.. what does a bride do with all that stuff the next day? Most of us are off on a honeymoon... Best part ..We didn't have to clean them up, haul them home or feel bad about them going to waste. I know friends who have spent 8 thousand or more on flowers. Granted it was a long time ago but I know i spent less than 300 dollars. I'm so excited for you...❤ congrats on your engagement , your ring is gorgeous!
