Honestly for me glass house not releasing is one of the biggest not death related rap travesties ever, probably would’ve been their best album and we ain’t even never gonna fuck here it, some bullshit.

This album never seeing the light of day is one of the biggest tragedies in Hip Hop as Slaughterhouse was one of the most special groups/projects to exist in the genre. Four outstanding and incredible yet underrated MCs coming together to form a lyrical supergroup. No other clique in Hip Hop could have ever stood toe to toe with them. Especially with Royce and Joey being two of the greatest writers/artists/lyricists/wordsmiths etc in Hip Hop history. Such an unmatched shame. Slaughterhouse >

@@deeluvdee13 Yes it was. Em and Paul pushed for a more commercial/poppy sound for Welcome to Our House. Totally different tonally from the first Slaughter album which sold well compared to WTOH. Had Em just let them continue how they wanted and let them make the tracks they wanted it would have resonated more with their fans and would have paved the way for Glass House to be released.

Well to be fair, they made a bunch of stuff and he just chose the more radio friendly ones to go on the album. ... plus, Glasshouse was clearly about to be that 🔥🥵 ! I definitely think we would have appreciated it a lot more after WTOH didn't quite meet expectations... Even though it was twenty times better than anything else at the time

@@nogrecords it really wasn't, it was one of the crappier albums of its year . Outside of hammer dance, the album was a total failure . From the snippets I've heRs glass house had a mood muzik feel to it and I was really lookin forward to it .

I wish. Slaughter, imo, was the greatest Hip Hop group ever formed. Yes, even more so than The Wu. Half of the Wu were garbage and couldn't spit. All 4 quarters of the Slaughter were absolutely incredible lyricists on their own. Coming together to form a group was special. They all had their own styles that meshed together so well. There will never be another group like them. Its a tragedy that we'll never get this album. Slaughter > every other group
