What but would you use to make the retention grooves?

If you aren't allowed to use PVS heavy putty, you can still use the greenstick pvs compound but for now just a hot water bath and a cup of ice water. Leave the compound sticks in water, leave for about <5mins and adapt it to the custom triad fabricated tray but before you do that, use the torch and lightly place and lightly char or torch the borders where the greenstick will adhere to. You'll ultimately have a nice vestibule and it won't be as messy.

aoa sir, i am a general dentist from Pakistan . recently I have been having issues with zirconia that the crown gets debonded the very next day. my protocol is to use dual cure(prime dental ) on a dry environment (prior I follow the steps of bonding in the sense that I etch and bond the tooth and use bonding agent on zirconia) kindly if you could guide me if I should adopt a different approach prehaps. there is no issue with PFM

Sir very very well explained. I have just one confusion, you measured the VDR as 6.2mm and VDO as 6mm.....but the difference between the two is not equal to the freeway space sir.....so sir why didn't you reduce the wax from the lower rim ?
