I would have just rolled the windows up all the way and locked both doors, and then call the company and tell them that I saw one of their trucks with the registration number 849-RWL being chased down the highway by about a dozen police cars and a helicopter with someone leaning out the door with a rifle aiming at their truck. Then all of a sudden scream "Oh My God the truck just flipped and rolled over 7 or 8 times coming to rest on top of a vehicle!" At that point I would give them my address and say "You might want to get your lawyers down to the crash site to get on top of this and Then Click! just hang up. By the time the driver had found a wire or something to get the doors unlocked maybe a representative of their company would already be there.

The best way is to shut off the truck, lock the doors and windows, put the keys somewhere on the ground so you can honestly say, “I don’t have them”. Then call the police to have it towed. Then you don’t commit a crime by stealing his vehicle or damaging his property, but you teach him a lesson. The cost of the tow and the inconvenience of having to get it out of the impound lot should help drive the point home.
