1:20 I'm probably the oddball here, but my mom specifically told me that if anyone ever tried to grab me, I was to do EVERYTHING to not get in the car. Kick, scream, bite, pee myself, throw up on them if I could manage it, etc. And if they had a gun pointed at me, I was to run anyway. She said they want to grab a victim and get away as soon as they can, so they're not likely to draw attention to themselves by actually shooting you. But, she also said, even if they DO shoot you, it's probably better than what they had planned for you when they get you to a second location, that you'd probably beg to die before they kill you. It's a pretty cynical thing to say, but especially having studied Criminology, I 100% agree with her, and told my daughter the same. Outside of custody disputes, kidnapped children are very rarely found alive, and those found dead never get a quick or clean death, they've always suffered horribly. Even kidnapped adults almost never survive being taken to a second location, and they don't get a quick ending, either, usually.

I stand with Lindsey. The experience is real. It definitely doesn't get addressed unless you know what it is. Most women have no idea 😢

This man was in the military and probably had some ptsd. He sounds like a wonderful person that overcame it and genuinely wanted to help the youth. These punks tortured him and brought out horrible feelings of violation and fear. They got what they deserved but he doesnt belong behind bars. The parents should be held accountable too.

I love how people claim they were “artists” since they were five…like their preschool drawings and noodle necklaces (that every other classmate was doing as well), somehow makes them uber creative or unique. Every one of these hipsters try so desperately to be unique, and ironically enough, all end up looking and sounding like carbon copies of one another. I can’t take any of them seriously. You aren’t special or creative, it’s all been done before, just get over yourself.

For me a huge red flag is Stephen saying that "we dropped her off" and mom didn't correct the statement to "Stephen dropped her off and I wasn't there".....yeah she knew what was going on and did not speak up for a long time

The current picture thing doesn’t bother me, my daughter hated me taking pics of her, and that was before everyone had a cell phone pointed and ready to to, we just had digital cameras, but she hated her pic taken 🤷🏻‍♀️but everything else is wrong about this case, so so sad. I quit dating when my daughter was a teen, didn’t want men around her at all during those years ogling her….ugh 🤮🤮🤮

I'm gonna hold true to my gut instinct whether bc she was focused on other things and didnt see what was going on or she just didnt know at all....i don't think she knew knew. His injuries match what he said he did to himself (pellet gun, hanging, etc), and his sister mentioned that Megan was talking about the end of the world on the welfare check call. It's tragic, but it's possible they were both in on it. Maybe he chickened out and couldn't get himself to kill himself.
