CCM is proud to introduce, for the first time ever, the CCM JetSpeed FTW stick, designed specifically with women in mind. Engineered with a hybrid kick point, a soft RR-95 blade and round “R” shaft geometry, this stick will provide ultimate feel and response in the most crucial moments of the game.
A huge benefit to this stick is the unique length and flex options that are tailored to meet the specific needs of female hockey players. The Intermediate stick offers a 65 and 60 flex that is 60”, and a 55 flex that is 58”. These lengths are usually only found in Senior sticks. CCM wanted to fill a gap for female players looking for a lower flex but still want to keep the standard stick length.
Featuring a hybrid kick point, the JetSpeed FTW offers the perfect blend of power and quick release. Whether you're taking a powerful slapshot or firing off a lightning-fast wrist shot, this stick delivers optimal energy transfer for maximum shooting efficiency.
Carried over from previous JetSpeed sticks is the Skeleton+ Technology. This is a manufacturing technology found in the taper area providing a lighter and better feeling stick that you can rely on in key moments of the game.
The shaft is constructed with Advanced Carbon Matrix and Sigmatex Spread Tow technology. This combination provides a lightweight stick with exceptional responsiveness and strength, allowing you to handle the puck with confidence and make precise plays.
Continuing with the shaft, CCM uses R-geometry design, a streamlined shape with rounded corners and concave sides. This is a stick that will feel comfortable in your hands and bring a ton of performance to your game. For grip, the FTW uses FT microfeel, which is a raised grip on the bottom edges of the shaft’s mid-section to ensure perfect control.
For the blade, CCM uses the RR-90 blade to give you more response and the best feel possible. The RR-90 blade with peel ply and Sigmatex Spread Tow material will optimize stiffness, create more strength, and provide the right mix of pop and feel.
Experience the ultimate combination speed and finesse with the CCM JetSpeed FTW Hockey Stick. If you’re a player looking for a high-performance stick and to elevate your game to new heights, the FTW stick is a great option.

Is 10 to 10.5 shoe good for size 8.5 hyperlites?
We usually recommend going down 1-1.5 sizes from your shoe, so if you're a size 10 shoe, an 8.5 skate would work!
The screws are too short for the fishbowl so I can’t get it connected
The FV1 face shield does not fit properly on all helmets. Which helmet do you have? We have a compatibility chart on this page, if you wanted to take a look - www.purehockey.com/product/ccm-fv1-full-face-shield-senior/itm/37203-41/. Let us know if you have more questions!
Are these skates much better than the M5s? Price wise they seam to be but not sure if they will make much difference in performance? Cheers
The MACH skates will have a bit of a stiffer boot with an upgrade in materials, AMP flex facing so you'll have more ankle mobility, more comfort in the liner and better protection in the tongue. The M5 Pro is still a great quality skate; not a massive step down from the MACH, so if you are someone who skates 1-2 times a week, the M5 Pro is a great option!
Right ear so lonely
Hockey Moms and dads you won’t have to smell the obnoxious smell anymore. The PodoPhylus antimicrobial Insoles sterile the shoe 👞 and keeps working for months. At Etsy, not at Betsy
Does this fish bowl work on youth helmet pls pure hockey reply
It will depend which youth helmet you have. Please see our chart on the Bauer Concept 3 Shield - Junior page. That has compatibility for most helmets. www.purehockey.com/product/bauer-concept-iii-full-face-shield-junior/itm/12178-21/
What about the neck guard ?
This is an older video but we do recommend a neck guard. USA Hockey will also be mandating them for the beginning of next hockey season. Check out all of our neck guard options here - www.purehockey.com/c/hockey-protective-neck-wrist-guards
Difference between this and ft4 pro?
The FT4 Pro will have synthetic leather on the outside, more premium foams, and polygiene treated laminated liner to help eliminate odor.
This or team?
The FT6 will be constructed with more premium materials in the shaft and blade. This will also make the stick lighter. It may depend on how much you're on the ice and if you're looking to stay within a certain budget. If you're on the ice more frequently we'd recommend the FT6, otherwise, the Team is a good option!
If I am a size 5 in big kids and I got a size 3 skate would it fit good?
That's a good place to start, and usually fits well. If you order skates online make sure when you put them on, you also tie them up to see how they feel. If you are close to a store, you can get your foot scanned to see what size would be recommended for you!
Thank you❤
You're welcome!
I play at the black eagles reutlingen @@purehockey ❤❤❤
Whats more comfortable the x5 or x4?
The X5 Pro skate will have a little more padding around the ankles, with a stiffer boot to give you more support. This will make these skates a little more comfortable but depending on how much you play, the X4 wouldn't be a bad option.
Are they red or orange because online there red but in the video there orange?
The slightly orange color may come from the green screen when shooting the video, but the pop of color on these skates is red.
Dang. I should have looked at these gloves just for the ventilation alone.
They are nice gloves, and the ventilation is key!
I am currently using the nexus 2900 gloves in a size 12 inch. Would a 12 inch fit in the new Bauer nexus pro series gloves?
Yes, the Bauer Pro Series gloves will fit very similar to the Nexus 2900 gloves.
Love this helmet... Shame they don't make it anymore
It was a good one!
Any info on the different eyelets?
These eyelets have a similar look to the Vapor 3X Pro but to give the X5 Pro more durability, Bauer reinforced the top eyelets.
I have the knee hockey/mini/toy version. Still pretty cool though.
Awesome! Hope you're lighting up the knee hockey rink with it.
@@purehockey I don't play. I'm just a huge Lightning fan and love all things hockey. I went to a Tampa Bay Lightning practice and saw them at the rink. I really liked them so I bought two different sticks, one of which is signed by Nick Paul and Anthony Cirelli.
That's very cool!
this is the best concise video made aboutsticks I have ever seen.
Thank you for watching! Glad the video helped!
How would I break in my goalie glove Vaughn v10 glove
Vaughn gloves are heat moldable to offer a precise fit. The best way to break it in would be to take it to your local Pure Hockey and have them heat it in their skate oven. Other than that, you can run hot water through the inside of the glove and the break of palm. That will help soften up the internal padding of the glove and allow you to better work the glove in. Hope that helps!
This helps a lot I’ve been needing new pads for 1 year and I didn’t know how to fit them
Awesome! Glad the video helped. Thanks for watching!
Are these worth the upgrade or will I be fine getting the original Hyperlites?
The biggest difference with the HyperLite 2 skates that Bauer focused on will be the new PowerFly holder and improvements on the tongue for better comfort. The original HyperLite skates are still great, so can't go wrong either way!
Yo 2024
✌️
Brad: wow look at me in the mirror. Gotta get ready for a hot date with my gf
Any bread brand suggestions or suggestions on how to modify a slightly smaller pair of goalie pants for goalies have waist 44 inches and over
Within a decent budget, of course
Will this fit the CCM Tacks 210 Senior Large combo if replacing the wire cage? Thank you
Yes, it will!
I really have no idea what he's talking about but who cares. He's so hot, I just like to watch him! Yep...I'm shallow.
Thank you for watching!
I'll be honest. I bought these skates recently because i like the new look and i love the way Supreme's fit my feet. That said, ,the build quality on these skates compared to the past is definitely noticeable. Some small blemishes here and there and a few areas where you can see strings of excess glue.
Thank you for the feedback!
I will say this after a few weeks of skating on them- great feel and still a great skate. Almost 15 years of being off the ice and my feet feel fantastic!
One more question will a senior fv1 fit on a medium ccm xt85
Yes, that should fit properly!
Would the heel pocket of a Jetspeed be bigger than Tacks?
The heel in the Tacks would be bigger than the JetSpeed.
@@purehockey CCM told me that the Jetspeeds had a bigger heel pocket than the Tacks so I was confused, cuz they made the Tacks lineup to have more volume and stiffness so it didn't quite make sense to me that the heel pocket would be bigger than a Jetspeed. Thank you for the clarification!
Will this work with a xt85
Yes, this will work with the XT85 helmet.
Thank you for the quick reply have a great day
Minimum is 2 sizes down. The 1-1.5 rule is so outdated. Don't know why CCM and Bauer suggest this when it's factually incorrect.
Everyone is different with what feels best to them. The 1-1.5 size is a general guide and starting point for people who are starting out. We will always suggest going into the closest Pure Hockey store to get your foot scanned and sized.
I feel like this is a good stick but it seems like it can break easily
A lot of people seem to like the stick. We've had some reviews about the blade not being great, but plenty of people with no issues as well!
2:12... dang, 😂 that fit 3 image scan. Monster feet.
Even monsters can fit in skates!
👊🏾🤣 ... ah hahaha love it!
Stiffness rating on these?
The stiffness rating is 180. In comparison, the FT4 Pro has a stiffness rating of 195.
Thank you, thank you! (Samurai bow)
Is Bauer gonna release new nexus’ sometime this year? If so should I wait for the new sticks or buy this one?
Bauer will be releasing a new Nexus stick. It will likely be released this summer. Waiting or buying now would depend on if you need a stick immediately or not.
What price point are these?
The CCM AS1 pants was the top price point.
@@purehockey thanks for the reply!
What’s the difference between these and the x3’s?
The 3X is a higher model than the X3. The biggest difference will be a stiffer boot in the 3X, an upgraded liner, and more protection in the tongue. If you skate occasionally the X3 would be a good option. If you're skating 1+ times a week in a league, we would recommend going with a higher model like the 3X.
Which is better x4 or 2x
The Bauer Vapor 2X is a higher model skate, so has a few more upgraded features. It will have a stiffer boot, upgraded liner, more foam inside, and more protection in the tongue.
They fit in the LS Edge, but they move around. Not really compatible.
Thank you for the feedback!
This is a good video. You can tell they know their products. My old Vapor skates lasted 10 years so I’m thinking about splurging this time. I play a lot.
Thank you! That's great they lasted 10 years. If you play a lot, the X4 or X5 Pro would be good options! Please reach out if you have any questions 866-787-3462 or customerservice@purehockey.com
day 1 of asking for a free stick
We do have contests every so often where you could win sticks or other items. Keep your eyes peeled for those!
@@purehockey ima get in this too thanks
Step one: find two hundred dollar bill on the street Step two: watch this video Step three: like the video
Thanks for watching!
Would’ve been nice to actually show the stick blade
At minimum you should go 2 sizes down from your shoe size. If you’re 1 size down those skates are guaranteed to be too big. 1.5 sizes will most likely be too big too. This is outdated information. For a brand new video, I can’t believe you started off with this. No mention of the pencil test for the rear of the skate or over the top of the foot? That’ll help further ensure fit from a length and volume perspective. C’mon guys. This video may have been useful in 2010, but not 2024
Thank you for the feedback. Going 1-1.5 sizes down is a general guide for beginners and female sizing will vary as well, going down 2-2.5 from their shoe size. Everyone will be slightly different with their preference for fit but it's a starting point. We always recommend coming into a store to get sized properly.
very helpful i hope more people watch this video
