Sutton is not needed by the Broncos. The way I hear it Troy Franklin and Devaughn Vele are having tremendous OTAs. Forgot to mention them for some reason. If the Raiders Chat Sports is as bad as the Broncos one then the sub battle results are no surprise, random luck. You must have found the most naive subscribers in existence. Another video with takes that are impossible to stomach.

I'm actually inclined to agree with Petey at least where Court is concerned, but Justin on the other hand is a different story. But let's focus on Court. I think not only do the Broncos try to wait it out, but they do find that aforementioned "sweet spot". And I'm gonna guess somethin to the effect of 14 and a quarter to 14.5 milli. Don't see him gettin $15 or $16 mil at all.

I know Petey won't say it, but I will. The reason Justin Simmons is gone is because of the Russell Wilson contract. Simmons is just another casualty of the Wilson debacle. Once again, it shows itself to be the worst trade in Broncos history, and it isn't close for second.

I really doubt that Bo Nix's success of failure will be predicated on a receiver with a measly 59 grabs for 772. Those numbers are pedestrian, to say the least. Trade Sutton for a receiver who is a better fit for the Payton offense.

Petty, tell us why you think that Bo Nix needs Sutton? I think the receiver room is stacked pretty well as is.

Trade Sutton. We aren't going to have a winning season this year. Might as well invest in the future of Nix and get some picks out of Sutton.

If we offer Sutton more guaranteed money NEXT year I think he will show up for mandatory mini camp. His money this year is guaranteed so maybe guaranteeing more next year plus some upfront cash as a bonus will do the trick

About Sutton. All depends in this: How much?. Is it to much... well find a "balance", IF not... well... There must be some one in the Free agency "better" than him. So, Sutton hes is not an "elite" WR; hes very good, but, not a Rod Smith or Thomas.

I love Sutton but trading him now will cut cap and we got a lot of young receiving talent that is going to step up. If he has a low production 2024 then his trade value plummets.

Give the man some guaranteed money. He is our #1 and he should feel comfortable about being that guy. Pay him as long as it is team friendly.

Sutton doesn't have a problem with his salary as much as he does the guaranteed compensation of only 2 million.

Josh had other weapons on his team, so there is a difference. He can take Sutton spot and I believe Franklin can have a break out season. Nix already know Franklin 2 step to release him the ball. Patrick back healthy so he will play his part and Lil Jordan will handle his business so if Sutton have to go I feel we will be straight .

I would keep Sutton and bump his guarantee money for next year somewhere between 5-8M. He's a good receiver. Prior to his 2020 injury he was balling out. I can't knock him for the year he cameback. History always shows that it takes players a full season post surgery to get back to 100%. We have jovante Williams as the latest example. Also, the last couple years have been disastrous for the broncos organization. Are we really going to hold it against Sutton when we had Nathaniel Hackett? I mean we haven't had a decent QB to throw the ball for almost a decade now. The only time we had some consistency at QB was during that 5 game win stretch last year and that's why Suttons numbers went up. Lastly, for those who knock him for not being able to seperate, well he is a big receiver and has never been considered a smaller quick receiver. He's a big target and one who we can use in the redzone or throw those 50/50 balls. Blaming him for not having seperation is like blaming Stefon Diggs for not being big. It's just not the type of receivers they are. Plus Sutton had no help from any of the other recivers so defenses all swarm to him as he is really the only reliable receiver who can actually catch the ball. Look at all the so called separation skill Jerry Jeudy had. How did that work out. That guy couldn't catch even when he was wide open. Bad organization, not enough talent helping in the WR room, no O-Line, no QB, nonstop coaching changes....why is it his fault?

Either hold off or trade him

Denver is do for a week one starter at QB because they haven't had one since Elway. Nix is at a great age and he is very capable. Go Broncos.

If I'm not mistaken, the Broncos need to still trim the cap by 6 million, and to be fare, they are rebuilding every position except #2.

Well, when Sutton was on IR, the Broncos didn't try to renegotiate his contract, so he should just plan on really performing this year and get his deal next year. I don't hate on another guys money, but I also think he should take into consideration that the team is strapped on cash because of the R. W bust. Next year will be the time to get a great contract going into the future, not this year. Just get to work and show he can stay healthy all the time, not just when his guaranteed money is not that great, he signed the deal and got paid, so get to work.

Sutton only had 59 catches last year and 3 fumbles so only 56 catches was 10 touchdowns but qb only threw to him so those numbers are average at best
