I pulled up to a new Signet 350kW Balanced charger with my Q8 etron and started a session, within 5 minutes the session stopped with a red light on my charging port. I could not restart the charging session trying every possible starting method except calling EA. After several tries to get charging I moved to another stall that was known to be working. The car would not start charging on a different dispenser. After leaviing and returning home I found an error message buried in the charging menu of the MMI. After clearing the error message and driving to a different EA charger the car posted the best charging experience ever. Started charging @ 30% SoC and the charger supplied 170kW well into the 60's SoC. @ 90% the Q8 was still pulling almost 90kW and showing 240 miles of range. Check Vehicle > Charging in the MMI for error messages if the car will not start a charge.

Glad to see 55s on the ground! Not loving the wheels, yet. Maybe 2026 will improve. We have 2019 Q7 55 3.0T supercharged. It’s hard to leave this car once it fits your family needs. X5 fun but too small in the back, GLE is just feels plastic.

I like the spec, especially the no color on the interior. I wish there was an option for the alcanterra steering wheel without the color seats and vents. Also wish getting the carbon fiber didn't delete the light bar on the console. If I had to choose, I would want the ambient light strip so would just not get the carbon fiber. For some reason w/ a black car they force you to get the carbon fiber and not sure why.
