Thanks an actual updated tutorial that works, the only problem I had was I could not open the images for flags and portraits on paint so I had to download some offbrand paint app. Any idea how to fix? I can provide more details

when i create like north texas, i select provinces according to the northern part of texas and when i click save "texas" title goes back when there is nothing, and when i select texas in strat region, it also select north texas as if it was never there

I did all of this but, it doesn't show the country on the map. It instead shows nothing-you can't selected the country nor access the state.

So my focus isn't showing up. I am making a mod for african nations and I am working on the first tree but I can't see it.

It all worked. I had an issue with cores. I can add a core, but not remove cores for certain states.
