THIS is the way I remember the song - way, way back. I just listened to Tex Ritter and a few others, and they sing it "wrong" as I remember as a kid back in the '50s, give or take ten years. OMG! Ken was a dear friend of mine. I never thought to look him up on CZcams. What a treasure to have these videos of a concert in his home. My friend and I performed a few of his songs at his memorial and have recorded Somewhere West of Laramie. It's one of our favorites! Thank you for posting these.
