To this day, im still using my 1990 Dynamark to cut my lawn. I've maintained this lawn tractor regularly and it has never let me down. Todays lawn equipment in my opinion will never compete with the older stuff. Im diggeing that XL You got. That tractor is my grail tractor. Thank you for showing these beautiful pieces of equipment

that carb shows what happens when you use reg pump gas. always use ethanol free fuel and that won't happen.

We had one back in the 1960's but I am not sure what year it was. We had a sidemount sickle bar mower for it. Baled hay with it anbd an International 45 haybaler. Also, a set of plows for plowing our garden and cornfield. Very capable tractor for the rated horsepower. Don't remember the name of the attachment that cut the corn and produced what my dad called shocks.

Your videos are a big help. I too have a 1940 9N. Mine also has sentimental value to me. Mine has been on this farm with my family since the 1950’s. It was our loader tractor for years. It had a 3 point mounted plow. It raked hay among other chores. It is now painted in 8N colors and about the only thing that it gets used for is running the Dearborn 3 pt buzz saw.

I remove the engine and rebuild the carb and clean tank plus replace springs, paint engine and deck They sale good then 😊😊😊 I have properly about 50 of the flat head push mowers and 80 riding mower put back to rebuild 😊😊 Love being retired ❤

We would braze new taps on recall cover and good as new ❤

My great grandfather had this exact AMF mower. Also an AMF garden tiller. When he passed away my family gave both to me because I helped him cut his grass and work his garden. I was 14 years old at the time. I’m 61 now. Still have the tiller and it still runs. The engine locked up on the mower a few years after it was given to me and sadly we got rid of it. Sure wish I still had it too. This brought back some memories. Great video. Thanks.

The carb kit costs me about 1.47 so I just kit and clean them, then paint and label it, plastic bag and on the shelf for summer 😊

I save the old out of pickups to top of low engines and test running Then oil change 😊

After doing this conversion on my 1975 16hp Sears tractor, it seems to run just fine, but now it wants to overcharge the battery after setting it at high RPM. Amp Gauge Go's max and ignition switch wants to start on fire 🔥 😂. The tractor has a new voltage regulator. Didn't do this until I changed the ignition. What's up with that? Any help please 🙏.

Yep tightening those bolts is extremely regular maintenance for me I’m gonna get a stud kit for it

It looks like a mid 60's. 1964-1968 in that range. The early 60's didn't have a steering wheel. They had a "joy stick" steering lever instead.
