That was lovely, many thanks for sharing. Their music has been like a dear friend I never really had but greatly missed throughout my young adulthood. May they continue making music for years to come.
I love this documentary. I have watched it at least 3 times already
Exactly, calm and beautiful songs 🩵
I love your music
I came here as Ricky Gervais is a big fan. He loves this music
❤
25:55 "we are very convenience-oriented". well, I guess one could call them kings of convenience.
Love love these guys such a great sound n vibe they create together. all that hard work creates such beautiful elegance. ….and I get lost in Eirik’s eyes..whew.
❤ this band…One of my fav of all times, 👏🥰
❤❤
Long may they live❤ please stick together and create beautiful songs❤ thanks for the tour
Thanks for the beautiful documentary, it's geninue and lovely just like them. As an old fan I could feel they're very different, but also have many things in common, that's the beauty of a life-long friendship, two don't have to be the same, but can always learn from each other and grow together. Like Eirik said, Erlend was the one first caught up my attention, but later I realise KOC is both of them, can not exist without any of them, and Eirik's voice is so soft and warm, their combination is simply perfect.
Wonderfulll and great documentary ❤.. really enjoy to watch this every minute.. thank u so much to let us know more about these amazing talented guys.. love Eirik and Erlend from beginning .. please keep on make music.. ur music is like water in the dessert..touch our heart deeply ❤❤❤
Poor erlend
@15:56 what game were they playing on the phone?
Really appreciate this wonderful documentary ❤ their music is truly a gift
I love their music. Their sound is so gentle and magical, like twinkling stars. Their voices blend beautifully together and the lyrics touch my heart. I hope they tour the U.S. again, it would be wonderful to hear them in person.
I love Kings of Convenience, Whitest boy alive, Kommode, Erlend Oye, and everything these guys touch. These may two of the most genuine songwriters of our time. They played in Washington DC after a decades long haitus from playing in the states. My Wife and I drove 6 hours round trip from NJ to see them. One of the best live shows of my entire life ! Love the new album and loved learning more about you gentlemen.
rumours is breathtaking!
4:13 - a magical Hummingbird on the horizon! Great documentary! Thanks for sharing!
I love them since the first record.
It is impossible to stop loving both of you. Thank you!❤
i cried literally the whole way through this documentary cause wow. Every single song on this album is amazing, such a beautiful friendship. Such a beautiful story of chemistry and bond, musical soulmates. Long live the K.O.C
19:13 That's the secret to good parenting too, in a Marriage with Children! The kids learn quickly that THEY CANNOT play the, _"Well Mommy said 'Yes' so it's yes and you're wrong, Daddy"_ kind of games. If one says, "No," it's not to be done, end of discussion, very strict.
"Intuition to us is the all-encompassing law that all others must obey." Controversy on the horizon.
Their sound is so pure, honest and exquisite. They are fierce and vulnerable. The first time I saw them I left wanting to learn to play an instrument because when I saw them I could feel the joy and the amazing conversation between them and the other musicians. And, watching this documentary helped me to understand what I felt a bit more. It is amazing, thank you!!!
thank you for making this. so wonderful to see a little bit deeper into their creative dynamic and history together. i feel so lucky to be on this earth with them and to hear their sounds.
Thank you so much for this! They both sound magical together, as always 💙💙💙
Just saw them last night live at the Fonda in LA.. their sound is surreal in person! The performance was magical. So proud of them for coming a long way
I was at the last night of that show! 🎉
Yes, we all really hope they keep making music together.
I just listened to this songs all the time and help me through tough times. I am very much thankful to understand them more. Thank you for opening up to the world your story.
They often seem slightly annoyed with one another 😅 every time they go years between albums, i think they’ve broken up, but they always turn up again (thankfully)
Very convenience oriented 😂
They are two magnets, for and against.
I really enjoyed this documentary! Loooove your songs! You really are the Kings! ❤ Keep making amazing music!
Where was this originally posted?
Their dynamic is so… 😂 can’t believe they stuck this long together, but after seeing erlend’s explanation of how he viewed eirik, damn that’s kinda poetic, it just happened that he was the one he met at the door, at that party 😂 what are the chances, they’re lucky to have met.
Do I fly to chicago to see them next month?...
havent heard of them before but i'm impressed with their music.....look forward to hearing more
❤❤❤
Can't wait to see them in Chicago again. Might be last time I see them live, but I'll be there.
Oh, it came back? I thought this documentary was deleted back then in Kings of Convenience channel. Thank you for returning this gem!
Seriously, there are no average songs in their catalogue to date. An excellent duo...... who possesses Simon and Garfunkel like qualities. Perfectionists to the core.
Thank for this Documentary Love to know more about Erik, Erlend and Kings of convenience their magical sound open up some vulnerable part in my soul. Grateful to have their music come to my life.
Watching this was like finding a few more pieces to the jigsaw of the KOC puzzle. Watching them live would add a few more missing pieces, but their music still remains a fascinating mystical tapestry of soulful folk balladry in an increasingly monotonous world of pop music.
A great docu of KOC : )
Vc ta velho nais ano vcs
Beautiful. Great Documentary.
What a great documentary...
Thanks!
@@stiansvigfilm8964 Thank YOU. I really enjoyed it, it was very interesting, well produced, and those two are one of a kind. This documentary does them justice. Well done.
