This is the introduction of Nice Dress Nellie and how she got her name on the Andy Griffith Show. Sorry if it repeats itself I just wanted to make sure everyone knows just who she is and what she looks like.

Hope Summers reminds me of two of my friends Miss Ellen Earles and Miss Melanie Park by her facial appearance
wait, aren't supper & dinner the same thing?
She was a great actress as well, she was in convicts at large episode and the ghost and mr chicken movie with him as well
Ralph sure can dance!
Without a core of heart comedy is just a string of jokes, this was a great scene and a great episode from a great show
It's Barney's self awareness about his bragging that always gets me. He knows he does that but he's not going to let Andy take the fall for his faults. A realistic well developed character.
I got choked up watching this episode. My dad was known around the neighborhood as an Otis type. The dignity given back to Otis and his humble acceptance was a real tearjerker for me.
So funny😂😂😂😂 I couldn’t stop laughing
This is one of the best acting moments in history!!!
Sarah had to be the nosiest woman in Mayberry because she had all the tea on everybody 😊😊
According to the book 'Andy and Don', this episode aired the evening of JFK's burial.
Don Knotts was mostly cast for comic/gag roles, but he, obviously, had quite the potential to do many other dramatic parts. This one scene was all he needed to dispel himself of being typecast as always being Barney.
feuding
Bosco walked so Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup could run
Looks like the two men switch seats when Opie walks in. Blooper
Someone told me i reminded them of ernest t 😮 if i was half as funny I'd take that as a compliment 😁
Mrs. Mendelbright probably reminded Don of his mother Elsie which may be why he got so emotional when Barney told her how much he cared for her at the end of the episode.😊😊
Is this swing dancing or the jitterbug? I just love Gomer dancing!! Great episode
So my great uncle passed away (great man) anyway, the pastor at his funeral kind of gave off a strange vibe, almost like a TV preacher. I couldnt place it, but i told my mom about it and she got the same vibe. I told her he was like the “WHATS YOUR HURRY” guy on Andy Griffith and she burst out in laughter. She told a friend in her beauty salon and that lady also laughed knowing exactly what i was referring to😅
(After the combatants complained about their old men's legs): "Well, it's just a short walk, and it's the last time you'll be a-using 'em."
I love this country and this story makes me love it even more
Otis was a bass. who knew? LOL…pure TV gold.
Now, put Barney back in that choir.
Playing an unplugged electric guitar.
Tall Dark and Door Prize!
That company destroyed her brand few years ago , she’s buried just down the road , she was greatly loved , I boycotted that syrup , because they removed her awesome picture ☹️
I knew I had seen Ross Elliott on something else. He was Wally Cleavers teacher.
I always enjoyed Andy's reverse psychology.
Wow, that's great!
Obviously over worked and underpaid
Checkers is tough.
I liked the episode when Opie and his friends befriended a hobo, and Barney used a checkers game to distract Opie, and get him to confess that he took the pie from his house. It was even better when Andy asked him, "Dud you take a apple pie from the refrigerator?!" When Plus admitted it, Andy replied, "There's some other things missing about town, like a turkey, a ham and some other things. Don't reckon you'd know nothing about them."
President Kennedy's funeral delayed this episode by two weeks.
A purple tie with acorns on it.
She went on to fix stuff for The Douglas family on Green Acres with Friendly Freddy from Gomer Pyle.✌
The look on Barney's face.
Don was better. He starred in more movies and made people laugh mu harder. The shows' ratings fell a good bit after he left the series. The Drum & Fife Corps made it better.
One of my favorite episodes. We now know Barney can really sing
Love this❤
R I P to all three funny and talented legends. We miss you.
This was so beautiful ❤
0:46 Ernest T Bass does parkour
😂😅😅😂
i guess crime must be pretty slow if they have time to play gin rummy
Always lookin out for #1. Giraffes.
Here's the lovely version of "The Vacant Chair", recorded by the great Tennessee Ernie Ford in 1960, with mandolin, guitar, bass harmonica and bass, arranged by Jack Fascinato. "Cousin Ernie" recorded 2 LPS of Civil War songs (in stunning stereo sound for Capitol Records) in honor of the Civil War centennial. czcams.com/video/JwuBEp13HGA/video.htmlsi=G2sc9fMm4TiW7lEL
A) A guy moves into town. 2. He has no job. C. He wants to marry Mrs. Bendelmright.
Obey all rules was used in Garfield and Friends episode “Safe at Home”. Mr. Fluster was voiced by Don Knotts.
The great ones can have you laughing in one scene, and crying in the next. Don Knotts was truly GREAT!
No vulgarity, no foul language, no lgbtq propaganda. Just decent people. This wasn't that long ago. It's amazing howt pop culture brainwashing and public schools can destroy a society so quickly.
