    Whenever explanations for abnormal performances are this elaborate, remain sceptical. If these methods shared created this performance differential, a) they would not be revealed while Norwegian athletes are still competing and b) elite competitors adopting these methods would all experience similar improvements. These athletes went from also rans in Rio to ludicrous domination across all distances in a few years.

    The appetite thing works the opposite for me! High intensity stuff keeps me in the fridge whereas I can just eat normally doing zone 2 stuff. This stands to reason as you're more likely to eat when stressed and high intensity stresses you out. Also you're going to burn more calories doing high intensity so your body wants them back! So that's a bit confusing to me, anyone else?

    Really feel for Zane, as I've never really heard the 'inside story' on this issue - so wish him all the very best going forward. Did make me wonder though that now in so many sports it's ok to be male and compete against females & break all sorts of female records because you have an unfair body advantage. Even IOC condoned it & Athletics NZ sent Hubbard to the Olympics - he/she failed to perform on the day, but that is unbelievably a wrong stance in so many ways by them - I can't help but see some parallels & hypocrisy by the governing bodies

    Graphene may possibly be responsible for the increase in tiredness in people it may be preventing the uptake of iorn molecules in the bloodstream i know several vaccinated people who have had iorn infusions and it hasn't made a long-term difference. More research is needed as to how it reacts with iorn. I believe its not oxidising iorn molecules it could be to do with composition of the blood the iorn molecules are unable to travel through the blood stream. I also believe the wearing of surgical masks is also causing a depletion in the bloodstream as we are taking in less oxygen into the lungs and therefore iorn is not oxidising, i would assume the molecules would just die off if not getting oxidised hence the increase in Anemia

I didn’t know until the night before my surgery that my vascular doctor thought my blood clot was actually PAES. Relieved to have answers but now I’ll have to wait and see if the graft worked. My left foot/toes still get very cold and turn white/blue/red which has been a little discouraging post surgery. Just need to be patient and see if my left calf pain has gone away as well. • @PerryScanlon

    These professionals are in a difficult position because it might not be possible to compete with those using EPO and possibly AICAR, and WADA rules and science make it unreliable to eliminate EPO, nearly impossible to catch AICAR if anybody can afford to use it.

  • @PerryScanlon
    @PerryScanlon Před rokem

    Dozens of Kenyans are serving bans for doping, so it's not really a shock that a white guy does it too. It's seems fair to legalize EPO and put a limit on hematocrit like 50% while testing for plasma expanders. An athlete who is over like 51% would just sit out a race or draw some blood to get below 50%.

    • @visceraeyes525
      @visceraeyes525 Před rokem

      its not a good example or standard to set for young people to feel like they need to take a bunch of drugs to be able to be competitive. unless you want these drugs to be legalized so that they can be administered, sourced and monitored more safely.

    • @PerryScanlon
      @PerryScanlon Před rokem

      @@visceraeyes525 if the rules can't be enforced, then cheaters win. That's the reality and message being sent to young athletes. If labs are using the method developed in 2021 by Martin et al, then detection window is 48 to 72 hours after maintenance microdose of EPO. If not, it's only 12 to 18 hours according to a 2011 review paper. WADA allows athletes to miss 2 tests per year and specify a 1 hour time window each day. Atypical ABP requires all 3 experts to agree or nothing happens, and according to scientific literature altitude is a confounding factor.
