From Bass to Tuna and anything in-between we fish for almost anything we can. Focusing mainly on our saltwater charter boat based out of Point Judith, Rhode Island we specialize in striped bass, shark and tuna fishing but target anything thats running. Early season we focus on freshwater bass fishing and as the saltwater season heats up we soon transfer our focus over but when the weather doesn't cooperate we switch right back to the sweet water. This channel is here to show others what an amazing fishery we have up here in New England, through our videos in hope to get others involved so they too can experience everything this fishery has to offer.

Quick drag race between a 02 Honda CR250 vs a 04 Honda CRF250. CR250 had a FMF pipe and exhaust, CRF250 had just an exhaust. CR250 spun off the line, CRF got out front first but the 2 Stroke caught up on the top end.

Offshore Tuna Fishing Fall 2014

A quick trip offshore for bonito and blue fin tuna. Ended up with 30 bonito (stopped counting) and 11 Bluefin tuna up to 30lbs. Also had a marlin come in to play with the bft. Solid action throughout the day.

Prob to pad? I just bought a gambler intimidator with a yamaha sho 200. I hit 70 and chime walk is bad
On this run I think it was deep like 3.5 - 4". To get rid of the chine bring the jackplate up higher. Mine does best at 3" - 2.75" prop to pad.

Hull has built-in setback by design and calibrated for your hull. You having a tough time raising nose with your present setbak.

@@salimsopari The thrust of the prop is everything important,,, on launch you want it as deep in the water as possible and as you get on top and gain speed you raise it for less friction. When running wide open throttle you want it so high that half of the lower unit and propeller are out of the water. This is called surface piercing and the boat runs most efficient at that point. A conventional I/O Inboard/Outdrive has 25% slip factor, a Surface Drive has 15% and lower. numbers will vary. If this boat is setup properly it will have 7-10% Slip Factor. A waste of plate height and money putting a jack plate so low on that boat then only using it jacked up 2 inches. You must have got the setup given to you for free to waste it like that.

Looks like you need a different prop, need to get the bow out of the water.need to be able to get her more up on the pad. If I'm thinking right the hull and pad are set back way under a gambler transom thus really not needing a jack plate.

These engines sure do have a lot of unique, interesting noises coming from the engine and transmission. Nice to hear this one to compare to my own 02 and know all those noises are common and normal.
definitely realistic I had a 94 firebird formula auto same motor and all run 14.29 on my only pass in the car .. it was stock besides muffler and not a full exhaust by any means. I believe a 6 speed car could easily run 13.9 on street tires and with full bolt ons probably quicker
