I STARTED MY OWN LOCS ON 3c/4a HAIR !
I finally started my own locs with the two strand twist method ! I have 3c/4a hair texture and now copper/ginger locs ! I used the two strand method because it holds better with my texture. I absolutely hate doing my hair now, im very tender head and styles are just too heavy for me now. I guess because of my history of wearing thigh length hair. Im finally ready to take this leap !

It’s because of gods i braided them! You’re not supposed to braid them all the way down !
Why didn't you start it off with retwisting she clealry in need of a retwist bad then it's going to be even more new growth when she remove this
@@queenminy4052 so you want me to retwist her hair and then ADD ON a loc extension piece and then wrap on top of it …. !? That alone is too much stress and it’s truly doing too much … that’s WHY I didn’t do that. And her locs were FINE after she took them out and waited another couple of weeks and got her retwist …. It’s not wise to retwist the hair and then do a style ok top of it … I would NEVER recommend that to Anyone EVER.
Do you remember the length of the soft live that you used? I have a lot of small locs and I want this look but I don’t want them to be too long that I can’t put them up in a ponytail like this.

How did you tie the faux loc to the real loc?? I’m trying to do my hair for a wedding and I love how quick and easy this method looks.
I opened up the loop part on the loc and wrap it around her natural loc and loop it through

You would undo the wrapping , cut the faux loc out and then that’s all
