Hi, I'm Kat! I am a full time potter living in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. I create handmade pottery and decorate my pieces with living plants from the forests around my home. Nature has endless beauty and wet clay captures the fine details of each plant.

Coil building a large pot - the entire process
Saying goodbye to a long winter, but keeping the memories of the plants in the clay pot surface. The pot is pressed with branches from the forest harvested in the late winter.

Sweet dog! Did you used to have a black dog?
She is sweet! Years ago when I was starting my pottery business we had a big black dog. She was a Giant Schnauzer named Ivy, and she loved taking long naps in my studio 🖤
It was really inspiring for me, i hope to build it some day
