Beautiful sounding V8 diesel! The exhaust is so clean too! Caterpillar was always known for their super clean and efficient diesel engines!
Is this older than the 6068t model???
Its a 6068HFG85 engine specifically. Its a 2020 model and they're still being produced, so I suspect not, but I'm not familiar enough with the 6068Ts to say that with full confidence. From my understanding they're just manufactured for different applications.

Yikes! Moire patterns on the display ....
They move a LOT of air and get HOT! I worked for a telco that has 3 of these in the Arlington TX central office. They had to be tested weekly and ran the whole office load for an hour. This was before internet telephones where we had land lines. You should see all the copper wires coming into the central offices! Long time ago. Data centers today still use these huge generators as do hospitals and other mission critical equipment.

Hi I have a question. After pm on this generator how do I clear the alarm?
There is a "fault reset" button on the control panel. After making sure all the faults are actually corrected, you can click that button, and then the "enter" button and it should clear it. The owners manual should be able to give more details if that doesn't work. Its available as a PDF online if you don't have your hard copy.

Hi , I have the same generator but I’m having problem with it is keep shutting down and a massage on the board come out saying : electrical trip . I will like to how to troubleshoot this! Thanks
@@levingatonpichardo3863 These units have safety switches that will trip the breaker if the doors to the electrical connections and/or breaker are open while running, and they also have an emergency stop button that may be stuck. Those would be my first checks.

uhh tier 4 looks like ….what does it mean when it says “lagging”? i’ve only seen “leading” the few i do
In short terms it basically just means it is an inductive load, whereas leading would be for a capacitive circuit. Generator sets like this will generally be "lagging," and (non-induction)electric motors, and power supplies will be "leading."
