The solvent breaks down the Styrofoam polymer and becomes gelatinous. the same thing happens with Styrofoam and gasoline to make napalm
You really need neat benzene to make a single liquified napalm solution. Other solvents and even petroleum spirit (gasoline ) do react and soften the polystyrene but don't tend to combine easily! napalm by the way while very effective isn't the best ammo for a flame thrower as even though the napalm is excellent at sticking and tranfering its goodness while billowing great clouds of toxic smoke it has the drawback of going hard in the pipes and valve of the flame thrower unless it's flushed with benzene after use... normally a mix of a highly flammable solvent and an oil is preferred for this while napalm is liberally dispensed by a small explosive charge that flings big meaty gloops in all directions......

zwykła benzyna 95 działa prawie identycznie, tylko w niej styropian zmiania się w takiego gluta żółtego, po odlaniu dzyny i wyschnięciu, glut zmiania się w coś jak plastik.

Masz błąd w opisie - rozkład a rozpuszczanie to 2 różne rzeczy. Lepiej napisać, że stopień spienienia polistyrenu jest proporcjonalny do szybkości rozpuszczania się go w rozpuszczalniku, ale to raczej oczywiste, więc zrezygnowałbym z tego zdania.
