I went on a backpacking trip to the Dolly Sods Wilderness in Davis, West Virginia. The hike was 24 miles over three days and two nights. The terrain was awesome, and the views were always changing. The campsites were great, and the scramble up to Lions Head was totally worth it! I carried a base weight of 26.5 pounds, and my total weight was 34.6 pounds. Same bike here! Hey do you have issues seeing your mirrors when they're placed down? I feel like I can't utilize the right mirror at all in this config. I just end up looking at the left mirror. You find yourself having the same issues?
That’s awesome! I do not have issues with the mirrors placed down. I’ve acclimated to their positioning, and where I need to look depending on what spot I need to see I will say having them up as much easier, but I like the look of them down. :)
@@Zonmunk007 do you find that your right arm blocks at all? or do you adjust on the fly? I can't seem to figure out why I can't get a good view of my right mirror when in the down position.
@@socosurf no issues. I know I might raise my elbow up a little bit on the arm that I’m looking under to see the mirrors.
@@socosurfI have a similar issue, so I locked my steering to the right, and then twisted the mirror anti-clockwise to get it close to the tank, but not touching, otherwise you’ll end up damaging the paint work. This has improved my view, but I still have to lift my elbow a bit to see. I think it has to do with it being the throttle side, twisting your hand brings your arm down. Alternatively, put the mirrors up or get a taller handle bar…..
