Yes, right in the Bayshore area. It was a great Blizzard, clean up was not easy with all that high wind.
So that's just west of lindy cut?
Yes, nice early in the season before the green flies arrive, later in the summer the little black flies arrive as well. Overall a nice little bay beach to relax.

Most of the beaches and Marina's there are fun to spend the day or weekend. Last year we went to Davis Park and Watch Hill for the weekend and some short day trips to Robert Moses Marina. We plan to visits other Marinas this year.

Where exactly is this..?
There are two islands between the Lindenhurst Cut. Both Island are good to anchor and go to the beach. The West Island is better, more beach, more room, a deeper approach.
I got a question for you. When you approach a boat to tie up to how do you approach the situation ? Do you look for a boat in similar size or doesn't matter ? And do you just come in and tie up to any boat or do you ask first ? What is the proper procedure to this. Thanks
They have a marine channel open on the radio, you announce your intention to join. They put the boats 30 and over on the south side and 29 and under on the north side. Before joining, you need to have your bumpers out on both sides and your lines ready. The Marine Max Crew will board your boat once you are instructed to pull up and tie down your boat, same goes for departure. Once you are there you can not leave, they will come back aboard and launch one boat at a time in a orderly fashion. They also pull anchors on every other boat to secure the tie up.
BostonWhaler172006 is the the same procedure for hemstock ?
Hemstock is basically a "free for all", no rules, most people just tie up to friends and just anchor by themselves.
Do you know if they still allow all boaters ? I heard that they started to only allow marine max members in some places.
Last year Marine Max only allowed Marine Max Members. I believe they were trying to control costs and have better order of control of the event. I do not know what the rules will be this year.
BostonWhaler172006 I am just having a hard time understand how they can possibly know who is marine max and who is not. They don't own the water so therefor anyone can come and tie up to a boat . They just can't participate in the aquapalooza activities or contest.
Marine Max sends out a email to all Members asking for reservations, boat type, size, reg, boat name and number of guests. They provided everyone last year a red marine max bungee flag that had to be on the boat of identification for the event. I am not sure how they deal with boaters that are not members that try to dock up. Try the other got event called Hemstock this year as well. It is in Hemlock Cove, usually you can google it and it provides the date.
