If only Sand Land was actually 2 different anime instead of 1 anime with 2 arcs, would have been easy AOTS for the first part. Another season that takes the new crown of the worst ever. This vid made me realize that people only seem to value an ED (and ops) based solely on the music and don’t gaf about the art and animation part bc there’s no way some of these endings at the bottoms got bodied by a sea of absolute garbage visuals

@@Lucas-md6dl You're ranking an opening, which means you need to take both visuals/animation and music into account. If you are ranking openings solely based on music, then there's no point in ranking openings, why not just rank japanese music in general, why is it restricted to anime openings, you aren't even acknowledging what makes an opening different from regular japanese music.
Saying that visuals don't matter at all would be reaching, but the song is so much more important in an opening, great visuals won't be able to save an opening with a terrible song. Also doesn't help that 90% of openings have rather average and uninteresting visuals. Judging endings by music alone especially makes sense when there's only like 2-3 endings every season with actually interesting visuals
really loved this season. solid list and great top 2, besides that favorites are #34, #31, #19, #18 and #5 (nice to see #19 and #18 are higher than v0)

I also feared this season to be meh or ugh, but it turned out to be actually pretty good (still the last 5 seasons were better tho). my favs are #52, #43, #34, #12, #7, #6 and #2
