Notice the use of black and white
The minstrel-style woodblock clatter is annoying. Why did they have to re-score (and bowdlerize) EVERYTHING?!

Cute little Muppet, isn't she?
Goebbels from his private box was jerking off while watching these girls. Wonder how many of the girls in this video were raped by the Ruskies.
Ich mag Marika Rökk sehr gerne. Aber alle, die hier sagen "das waren doch gute Zeiten": das war 1939. Also weit weg davon.
Music before low frequency. There’s a reason music today affects us like it does. Songs today talk about glorifying crime, irresponsible financial decisions, disrespecting women. Old music is meant to make you feel happy, new music is meant to keep you right where you’re at, fighting each other.
What a great song! And a great performance!
Her costume is a bit shocking for the time, or maybe that was just me 😂 but I often am surprised by vintage fashions being more risqué than you’d think.
You have to admit he had rhythm and a voice, and could hit every note.

фашистские крокодилицы... нас убивали а сами танцевали ..
That was fantastic. Wow.
Nina Simone sang it better.
Is this actress the voice of Betty Boop?
No. That was Helen Kane.
The music is great. I’d share it if not for the blackface.
Just wonderful theatrics and chord changes!
I don't know why that movie is lost. I wish I could see all of it.
Perfecto para Eurovision
10/10
I know I’m old because all I kept thinking of was ouch, look out, that’s gonna hurt, they almost banged their heads, if he drops her… now that it’s over I can appreciate the routine but WOW!

Beauty was everything at the start of the 20th century women really put in the work in those days . Now they just don’t care or want to be objectified but I like to look at these old time things they really are fascinating

Es tut mir nicht leid, daß ich jetzt und hier keinen Kommentar abgeben kann ob der einzigartigen Marika Röck. Sie war ein Super, super, super Star.
Bellissimo balletto! Spettacolare.
It's time to play the music It's time to light the lights
Imagine living in this era back then. That would be tough and weird
Reminds me of Sally Bowles.
